Ah, merci! I wasn't aware of the fact that avoir and etre are auxialry verbs for the same in all of the tenses! Thank you very much, once more! Your videos are fantastic.
Hello! Firstly, thank you for these videos. Secondly, I have a question. Can you use the subjunctive after the futur antérieur like in Spanish? As in "Tu habras terminado tus tareas cuando yo llegue"? Thank you!
Hello. As soon as you have calmed down, i will explain the situation Dés que tu te auras calmé, je t'expliquerai la situation. My question is you used seras calmé but calmer verb come wd avoir only.
Hi Pascal. I assume that French should require Futur Anterier dans le passe. Right? Otherwise, how would you translate the following phrase: 'He told me that he would explain the situation as soon as I had calmed down'?
This sentence is perfectly fine in English. Here 'as soon as' is used in reported speech, so it is correct to use it. You can change 'as soon as' to ''after'. When you transfer your old sentence in the past, 'will' becomes 'would' and the present perfect becomes the past perfect. So what does the French futur anterier become?
à 4:25 On ne dit pas serais le sons è mais on doit dire serai avec le sons « é » je ne sais pas pourquoi beaucoup de prof font cette faute, merci pour le cours .Et puis c'est plein de fautes de prononciation sur le site web. www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais-allemand/serai/716071

How do you know when to use which auxiliary verb(avoir, etre) with, well any sort of verb verb? Thank you!
merci. Obrigado
In 4:25, I think the correct English example would be: "Once I WILL have arrived, you'll leave", isn't it?
We wouldn't say that. We would use the present tense. "When I graduate, I'll be a teacher"; "As soon as he arrives, we'll go to the beach", etc. 😁
Ces videos sont genials!

para saberlo se necesita dos eventos futuros, el mas largo es futuro, el que esta justo antes es futuro anterior
Hello.
As soon as you have calmed down, i will explain the situation
Dés que tu te auras calmé, je t'expliquerai la situation.
My question is you used seras calmé but calmer verb come wd avoir only.
MEHAK RANA être calmé is correct
may be in bad English, because Once in correct English is never followed with the future tense (like when) ;)
Hi Pascal. I assume that French should require Futur Anterier dans le passe. Right? Otherwise, how would you translate the following phrase: 'He told me that he would explain the situation as soon as I had calmed down'?
maltliquor87 ok but as soon as is for a future event, it has not happened yet
This sentence is perfectly fine in English. Here 'as soon as' is used in reported speech, so it is correct to use it. You can change 'as soon as' to ''after'. When you transfer your old sentence in the past, 'will' becomes 'would' and the present perfect becomes the past perfect. So what does the French futur anterier become?
maltliquor87 il m'a dit qu'il m'expliquerait la situation dès que je me serais calmé or après m'être calmé
Thanks. That has been helpful.
