Very nice Atlas UP stock cars, Eric. They look great with the Big Boy consist - - everything Union Pacific! Might need a few more though. Watched the unboxing of the Big Boy the other day, and seeing it again here with the consist, I kind of like it without the paint. Thanks for sharing. 👍 👍 👍
Are you going to get any of the new Reading T1’s that Lionel just announced? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new Freedom Train they made, as it’s the 1975 pain scheme instead of the more known 1976 version, or even the fantasy Conrail scheme.
Does that box contain a $10,000,000 diamond tiara, or two boxcars from Atlas. We won't know until you open it....Frank...P.S. I still don't think they need to put operating couplers on passenger cars.
I have several pieces of Atlas rolling stock of the more high end stuff. They make very nice freight cars. these look great. Why is he Big Boy silver? Anyway, nice video, as always.
Hello to everyone on RUclips. I am in O Scale 2 rail myself. To me 3 rail just not realistic, a couple issues is, the wheels are too big. the wheels don’t look realistic. And the couplers are way too big. The couplers are just not realistic looking. to me it’s just a waste of money. I can’t believe more people don’t switch to O Scale 2 Rail much nicer looking and it looks more realistic. How’s the old saying goes to each their own
Retail price on these cars is $66.95. Enjoy the video! Oh and one more thing...I'm first! I'm always first! Hahahahahaha
why
I try
E
lol
Is it $66.95 each???
It is always best when it is made in the USA
Great video Eric
Great video Eric! Very nice looking rolling stock! Atlas has some very nice product, and the price is right! Thanks for sharing!

A *thought* about the LC2 Big Boy: WHAT IF the rear set was not hinged, but the front set could articulate much farther out?

Eric why don't you do a 20/20 tour of all your trains collection and all your accessories
Love the background music!!!
Very Nice rolling stock I wish I had the time and money to expand my layout and train collection
Paint is fine, I think. What I love is weathering. Cattle cars always had discolorations between the slats, didn't they?
Something for me to think about. My lionelChief plus Pacific would haul a couple of those.
Yay you used the new Big Boy
Like videos/reviews of freight cars. In Lionel 2020 catalog I noticed Milk cars...would be great to see a review of those.
Man Eric u got some pretty sick lookin knives! If I could I’d get one!
These cars would look so much better with a decent paint job!
Great video Eric very nice Rolling stock
Almost at 40k subscribers so early congrats 🎉🍾🎊
Carter Fehnel Thanks!
ericstrains omg you really replied thx
Awesome video, Eric!
Showing off the engineering sample again :P
When will you do a review for the Norfolk and Western 611? I can’t wait!!
Something I’m lacking in my collection. Need the big three to make some in New England roads
As alwaus another great review. In my opinion good candidates for some weathering. Maybe a few broken wooden slats or something.
Thanks!
I was expecting them to be NASCAR cars but they turned out to be cattle cars which I usually refer to them as lifestock cars
Nice cars Eric!!!
Those packing peanuts are the type that shrink when they get wet.
cool stuff Eric :) I like the knife:) Iam 65 today:)
40belowful Happy Birthday !
I am a big big big fan of you

Why does the Music at The Beginning Remind me of ZEPPELIN ??
noice
might buy these and get them and say they are rebuilt from old and 40ft boxcars
Nice review. Does there appear to be an easy way to open the car and glue some "livestock" into it?

I wish I could see all of your layout
If you can check all of his videos from the past 5 years, it would be possible to see all of the layout.
Nice job!
Thanks!

Can you access the inside at all or are they a sealed unit? They would look so cool if you could mount several cattle inside for effect!
The doors don't open, but you could always remove the shell and add cattle
I never get boxes showing up on my doorstep..............

Awww I was hoping when you were saying stock car you meant race cars
Some atlas
knife made in Usa but named a Canadian province
Austin Senkerik Ontario Knife Company is named after the town in which the company resides....Ontario, NY USA
@@Ericstrains I didn't New York had one too. I knew California did
Ok I can’t be the only one that saw “stock car” and though there was gonna be a nascar, right?
Redlineoverload Productions yes I know that’s why I said it lol
I don't like packing peanuts. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
You were supposed to destroy the diesels, not join them! Bring balance to the rails, not leave them in darkness!
@@bradstrains you're only master of diesel darth
@@connerweeks3273 I find your lack of steam disturbing.
It's the engine that made the Saluda Run in less than twelve parsecs!
