    For those wondering on the working cord lengths. I used 4mm single strand, 2 cords of 155 inches and 1 red cord of 185 inches. You can add a little extra to be on the safe side

    Hi, I've literally just started doing this macrame and the one bit I'm finding confusing is when switching to another colour, if you just tuck the pink behind and carry on with the white that you've just pulled across the back, the pink and the white aren't attached, and when I've made it the 2 columns of different colours next to each other aren't joined and there's a gap between them, what am I doing wrong?

      If you want requests maybe during spooky season do a Jason mask with a knife incorporated somehow!

    How much thread do I need as my working thread? 😊

      Michelle dm 💙 Hello Michelle 👋🏻 You will need quite a lot, vertical double half hitches eats up a lot of length. I never kept track of exactly how much I used because it will vary depending on rope and tension. BUT what I can tell you is that I use 120 inch lengths at a time whenever I have a project with several vertical double half hitches. You may need to add more. Sorry for the vague answer but I hope it helps 😊

    So where do we get the graph you used to make this. Goes so fast can't figure it out.

      💙 Hello, there is no printable document at the moment but you can pause the video and take a screenshot of the project details for your easy reference.
      If you have a home printer that’s connected to wifi you can always print the screenshot from your camera roll.
      Hope that helps and thank you for watching 💙

    What are the lengths of cord to make this?

    • @SimplyInspiredbySheena
      @SimplyInspiredbySheena  3 года назад

      💙 Hello 👋🏻 In nearly all my tutorials I list all the supplies and measurements near the start of the video during the “screenshot” clip ( found here 0:10 ) For this particular pattern you need 11 cords at 30 inches or 76cm However, I never give the working cord length for vertical double half hitch patterns as the length will vary on rope and differing artists tensions. VDHH patterns requires a lot of rope. I recommend purchasing a 2 lb tube of 3.35mm single strand cotton cord. You will have more than enough for this entire project. Plus a small ball of bulky yarn. I purchased my rope online from RopeShop.ca but feel free to use what’s available to you. Good luck and thanks for watching 😊

    Hi is there any way you could show us how to make this please as the video was too fast lol

    • @SimplyInspiredbySheena
      @SimplyInspiredbySheena  2 года назад

      💙 all it is, is just one knot! The vertical double half hitch knot. Once you master this one knot, this pattern is simple.
      Also feel free to adjust the speed of the video by tapping the 3 dots on the top right corner, if watching on mobile device OR click on the cogwheel at the bottom corner of the video if watching from computer
      Hope that helps 🤗

      💙 hello, I list the supplies needed at the start of the video during the “screenshot” clip for your easy reference 0:10
      With vertical double half hitches it’s nearly impossible to get an accurate length of cord. I like to work with at least 120 inch lengths at a time due to these knots eating up so much length. You may need to add more length as you go.
      Thanks for watching
