We are a Republic not a democracy, just saying 🤷♀️ we do things democratically as a Republic. The US can be thought of 50 countries united as a republic bc each state has its own laws and constitutions as well as stipulations with the federal government when a state join the union. Lots of Americans call the US a democracy 🙄
