It still baffles me how much better the PS2 version is. Watching through this while being familiar with that version, there's so many differences that it's basically a completely different game, like entire sections are altered or replaced with different scenarios entirely.
I'll admit that a lot of my bias for the game comes from the fact that I played it as a kid, and nostalgia's a bitch, but whenever I see people ripping into this game it's never the PS2 game I loved as a kid, and I gotta wonder how many opinions would change if they went through the PS2 version instead.. Funnily enough I owned the DS version as a kid, but hated it due to the controls (mainly the wall-climb, which was awful) and just it generally not being as fun as the PS2 version.
