What?? IV888? Just found this and had no idea you play! A man of many skills. Was on YT listening only and heard the beautiful playing and then a voice a know for sure and was totally surprised man. Sounds awesome.
I could never get my hands on Suhr (not where I am), but I heard so many great things and saw so many videos about them that I would love to get one one day. Btw, nice Two-Rocks there... I’m lucky enough to have one and it’s one of my favorite amp so far!
I visited the Guitar Sanctuary once just to see what all the hype was about. They definitely had a lot of cool stuff that Guitar Center did not have. A lot of their super nice Les Pauls had Grover machine heads on them and some that were the locking Roto-Grip style. I went to the accessory counter and asked the long haired dude if they carried Grover Roto-Grip tuners. He replied very snobbishly that they only carried high-end gear and that they had specific clientele that demanded only the finest guitars and accessories, indicating that Grover was not "high-end" enough for me to have dialogue with him. I proceeded to point out that several of their "high-end" guitars hanging on the wall possessed Grover tuners and that I already owned one of those "high-end" Les Pauls that originally came with "high-end" Gibson Deluxe tuners that didn't stay in tune worth crap. Instead of dropping another 4 figures on a guitar that I ALREADY had, I would rather pay $100 to upgrade it for better tuning stability. The argument ensued and I was asked to leave. Probably not because of the argument, but because I didn't come off as a ignorant doctor from West Plano or Frisco who would ignorantly drop massive coin on guitars they barely know how to play. Guitar snobbery is far beyond any of the gun snobbery I have ever experienced. LOL!
@@Guitarsenal If you find yourself in the DFW area again, look up Toneshop Guitars. They have a lot of high end gear like Guitar Sanctuary. It turns out you can have a guitar "Plek'ed" there too!
Eric seeing how you are a blues guy I would love to see a SRV style guitar lesson or tone talk... maybe talk about the sounds he used or the equipment like pickups, amps, ect....
The problem is that RUclips is pretty quick to mute and flag any video with known music, even if it’s just played by a single guy with a guitar. It happened many times to other channels... so it’s always easier to just play your own materials or just some noodling. Also, keep in mind that some channels can do it... RUclips only censor some channels. Somehow, I tend to think Eric’s might not be liked so much by RUclips. I really wonder why ;)
Anyone know how one of these would stack up against a Made in japan Tele? I'm thinking of buying a 2015 used one. A lot cheaper than a Suhr but... are they as good?
Funny how Leo invented the Tele as a low budget guitar. My parts tele is my favorite guitar and it cost me about $400 to build. Looked up these Suhr Tele’s and they are like in the $3,000 to $5,000 range. That’s not what a Tele was built for. Blasphemy

Dude! You do guitars too! Where have I been 🤣
Guns and Guitars , very nice !! Thanks for your Service .......
Nice chops Eric. Your playing seems to be getting better and better with each video. Great channel!
Wonderful tones and playing mate! Just affirms my undying love for the humble Telecaster!
Except this is not a humble telecaster! It’s a Suhr!
That's a beautiful Suhr, sir :)
Wow, what a nice looking store. I’d love to have a place like that near me...👍
Sweet sounding tele

That’s unfortunate. They have always been kind to me.

Wasn’t Suhr one of the first Fender Custom Shop “master builders”?
Man alive! Finger picken with both pickups sounded gorgeous! Keep making sound! lol.
Where does one get an amp cabinet like that to hold all the heads and combos?

What amplifier and/or pedal chain you go through here?
You got a check out righteous guitars in Alpharetta. Just Google it and look at the images, or RUclips it
I was just fixing to recommend that store, the place is awesome!
its the gun guy playing a guitar
The tone and sound just exactly like the fgn iliad with basswood body.
Got one of them, Illiads...nice....but not as nice sounding as a simple Squire CV50 with Lollar Special T...that's a great sounding Tele, Eric!
nice playing....
Eric, please record a few improvisations of your favourite tunes as a playlist. Trust me you'll gonna get a lot of daily views on it.

Great Guitar! Where is there retail dealer in Connecticut?
Cool strap!

This Guitar slays, and like I said it seriously has some of the best fret work I've ever seen.
Guitarsenal Stainless steel frets, zero 60 cycle hum and locking tuners; hands down the best on the market.
Is that a guitar strap from the store is that your own? Would love to buy one of those.
Jerry over at Savoy Leather makes them
Eric has some chicken-pickin' in him. Don't think I've heard that before.
I still like the Zombie strap better! LOL

Yeah, blasphemy! Or a different market. One of those.
Got mine new for $2,500 and will keep it for life, never needing a refret thanks to the stainless steel frets. Oh, and zero 60 cycle hum too.
Fat sound.
