I was at that game. I was an eight grader attending Mason schools at the time. The game was hyped up for sure. Princeton lost the game but they were a very good team. They beat a very good Elder team twice that year and Elder beat Moeller twice. Princeton went on to the State Championship game and lost to Cleveland St.Ignatius 10-7. Ignatius gave them a goal line stand at the very end as time ran out and sealed the victory. Heart breaking loss. I couldn't go to that game cause my father grounded me and wouldn't let me go. Ha ha!
I love that Ken Griffey Jr. is just "son of Cincinnati Reds Ken Griffey". Famous people doing mundane things before they are famous has always been wild to me
