@sudeshkumar4061 typically you need a decent gpu and the tone it takes depends on the artist. A five second shot could take days or it could take hours all depends on level of detail and where the assets are coming from.
hey my nuke rebelway cursor showing error like syntex error while installing i even follow what he said in week 3 (to install gizmo but still i,m stuck ) please help
Rendering volumes is one of the hardest subject in CG, Our students try their best to make it look as realistic as possible with the tools currently available and we think it's pretty impressive :)
because in reality... the smoke and dust particles are many times larger than they are in Houdini... In reality... we are talking about billions of particles that move and collide... ass for Houdini...... ...w ell.. NVIDIA has not invented the appropriate graphics card yet :)
Oh, they do a great job. Just so strange that something as simple as smoke and dust still looks so bad - even in big budget films - compared to the other elements. @@Rebelway
Hairs, Smoke, fire, fur, fluids, any form of gas and debris involves a particle system. Imagine counting the number of hairs in your head. Now multiply the number of hairs in your head by a million times. Now calculate how they move in 3 axes and how they sway and how they behave with physics like gravity, wind and water. And how they collide and bounce. Now to the optics of the same thing. Imagine the amount of light reflected, refracted and absorbed. That's a God level math. If this has to be done by puny home computers or for that matter even a super computer which takes days and months to simulate close to 60% mathematically, physically accurate data even at 2K resolution. Imagine the same with higher resolutions. Students won't have the power to try and simulate a scientifically satisfactory variation that ends up in the final video. Phew! My brain took 30 mins to render this Paragraph.
Showing the student reel along side the teacher reel would be epic.
Impressionnant....awesome......can't wait to be part of that journey

No, Houdini FX from SideFx 🙌
@@Noah-qd4ts I also want to work with you....can we do some project together??
Why do dust and smoke always look so fake, even when the effects around them look picture perfect?

Is that it? For me it seems like a lighting issue. @@anyonecansayeverything
