That is pretty good driving mate, to back a double onto the dock. I guess that is common in finland as I have seen a few videos now. If you can back a double onto the dock like that, then, you have experience to back onto the third trailer to hook up a triple like we do in Australia. The 3rd one just follows the 2nd anyway but most places you can only get on the dock as a single, so you have to break up the trailers each time. Triples do have longer journeys though usually.
Thank you for the information. Actually, it's not that different. Every truck driver can do this. This truck(HıghCapacıtyTransport) is used in 4 countries. Sweden, Norway, Spain and Finland. There are a total of 104 in Finland.
@@truckdriverinfinland That is interesting that they are so common. I notice they use them in Canada also. So do HTC drivers earn a higher salary, can you make a good living doing that over there?

Retired driver here. I used to pull what we in the States call doubles-2 27 foot trailers connected by a dolly. After about 2 years I got to the point of being able to back the first trailer and dolly, then I was going to learn how to reverse the whole outfit. They stopped using doubles except on turnpikes before I got that far. Pup trailers react very quick.
That's some skill, I was trying to work out which way to turn the steering wheel, while I was watching it. Got myself in a right mess just doing it in my head LOL
@@truckdriverinfinland Yes, but there are trailers where the driver can control the steering by remote and there are dollies with electric drive and remote control, someone might combine that and make a powered steerable trailer that can drive backwards making docking easier.
As it moves forward, it turns all the ways the dolly can. It's also up to the driver's account. I'm not very familiar with Norway's mountain roads, but if they're not too narrow, they'll fit.
One way to increase the usefulness of duo trailers is to install a computer-controlled reversing function in the truck. The control unit in the truck knows the characteristics of the vehicles in the set up. The driver gets out of the cab and places a contact transponder at the loading dock and starts the truck with his remote control in hand. The truck backs up under the supervision of the driver, who stands to the side and watches and stops if necessary. Then the rearmost trailer is disconnected with the dolly and the truck and the front trailer are backed onto another loading dock. When it's time to couple up, the control unit remembers where the other trailer's drawbar is and can back up while the driver watches. The described is technically possible. It is only required that some company develops the system and markets it.
He certainly did well. But since he would be loading both semi-trailers and would be hanging out later, he would have unhooked the dolly immediately and put the first trailer on the ramp and docked the dolly with the tractor and got it to the ramp faster.
There is a dolly between two trailers, you can steer it by pushing. The rearmost wheels of the trailers can turn left and right depending on the condition of the steering wheel, but you need to turn off this feature by pressing the button while reversing.
Wouldn’t it make more sense if they added a standard drawbar attachment to the tractor to connect the dolly for the second semitrailer? You park one first and then do the other one next
Yes it can, but your business will increase. Once you learn how to reverse, 5 minutes is enough. In this video, I approached the ramp in 4 minutes, but when the ground was icy, I slipped and it took me four minutes plus to get it back together.
+ winter conditions you wont have grip without a trailer/load on the tractor to reverse, in summer it is a good idea. But might as well learn to reverse them together if there is room for it.
Isvecin kuzeyindede 32 metre kullaniliyor ama stockholmde 25 den fazlasi yasak. Kamyon ve dolly trailer gibimi yoksa dahami zor? Ben dolly trailer kullaniyorum bazende link.

Hello trailer super!!!! Parking super dlya trucks driver master like za video!!!!!
Thanks
How long until the wheels at the back get steering and electric drive to remote control drive it into position?
The wheels in between have no connection to the steering wheel. It takes direction according to the thrust type of the trailer.
@@truckdriverinfinland Yes, but there are trailers where the driver can control the steering by remote and there are dollies with electric drive and remote control, someone might combine that and make a powered steerable trailer that can drive backwards making docking easier.
Why not, it will be fine.
That would just be more electric parts that would break, so hopefully never.
Does the 34 m can go to mountains of Norway? Or one trailer is detached when going to mountain roads?
As it moves forward, it turns all the ways the dolly can. It's also up to the driver's account. I'm not very familiar with Norway's mountain roads, but if they're not too narrow, they'll fit.
The max. combination length in Norway is 25.25 metres.
Good afternoon colleagues
I'm interested in how the job with 25 and 32 m was paid?
Thanks and safe driving
There is very little difference compared to others. However, since the driving is from terminal to terminal, it is an easier task for the Driver.

But that costs money and we can't have that, now can we?

How would he hook the truck to the dolly i don't think that's possible and even if you could you may have problems getting traction
It's unbelieveble... 👍👍👍👍
Thank you sir
Is this the standard axle configuration? Steerable rear axle on first trailer? Sweden approved 34m trucks december 1st.

@@truckdriverinfinland Ok, thank you for this information! Happy new year!
42 tekerlek saydım😮
Do the trailer steering axles block while reversing or you're just dragging them on the concrete?
The rearmost wheels of the trailers are blocked by the driver. Dollies and trailers are checked and they return slowly.
Miss you sir
