Wow! Amazing tutorial ❤ I use my cricut for vinyl but took on the assignment to make some support cards for my women’s group. You have got me so excited to get going on this project. Please make more tutorials for us newbies.👏🏽
Excellent video! So many of the videos assume we know more than we do and race through the directions or don’t explain why they are doing a specific action. I need step by step! Thank you!
Thank you so so much for this video, I'm just starting making cards with my cricut and I couldn't figure out how to get that black line to go bigger around the saying inside my card. Perfect, made me so happy!!!
This was a very good video I really like that you walked thru each step and I was able to follow along and design a card for Father's Day with no problems🥰
Great tutorial, I have had an Expression for years. But had my Explore only for a few months. I didn't know how to change color. I am wanting to try print then cut. But I would print it on a extra piece of cardstock and then put it on the front of my card. Makes the card so much more sturdy. Thanks so much for sharing this.
i have pages of hand desighned pop up cards and was wondering if i can take a picture of a desighn i made and turn it into a svg with all its score lines? how would i do this?
I liked the video but I had a problem with my print and cut. I was wondering if I could ask you some questions to make it work. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Hi Jewels, How can I help you? It would be a lot easier to talk via Facebook if you're on it. Look below the video in the details for the link. Hope to hear from you!
Great video! I followed exactly. My cricut is cutting the image i flattened and attached. I just want it to print and not cut it, just like yours. Do you know what I am doing wrong?
Did you remember to put in the paper dimensions at the beginning so the Cricut knew to cut the paper at that size? Also, did you highlight the image AND the white paper box together and click ‘attach’ to them THEN press flatten. You must attach the image to the paper first, so they’re linked - then flatten the whole piece at once. Your whole project should then change to ‘print | cut’. A way to check if it’s going to cut the image is to look at the right hand side of the screen, if the image shown in your menu there displays ‘cut’ - you’ve not flattened correctly. It should display a little thumbnail of your image with ‘print’. Good luck!
If you are just trying to print a image off cricket design space. Print it but don't put it in your machine to cut afterwards. It always prints before cutting so just cancel the cut once you've printed it out
Would it be possible to make a double sided card by not allowing it to cut the first time, printing what you want on the opposite side, and then allowing that to cut? Currently having a hard time making a 5x7 card that isn't folded T__T
Hi great video, love the way you explain thing I can finally understand ( new to cricut world) however I have a question, what's a cartridge? How does it work?
Cartridges are what they used to sell for Cricut before having things available for us in Access. You used to have to purchase a physical product.....a cartridge.
Great tutorial. I have just got my Cricut explore and this is very helpful. I have made a card from a free card for explore 2 which has a fold line which has a little cut not score and I don’t seem to be able to remove it. Any ideas?
Awesome tutorial! I'm so close to purchasing and have been obsessing over this machine for months. If you wanted to make say notecards that are approx 4x4, would you then print as many that will fit on a 8.5x11 sheet (similar to a printer) so you don't waste the precious cardstock? Or, is it a large roll that manually feeds into the machine. Sorry if this is a silly question but I am not familiarized with all of the functionality of the machine. Thanks so much!
Hi Cheryl. Sorry I am just seeing your comment. If I was making cardstock note cards I would definitely put as many on the cardstock that I could. I hope by now you are enjoying your new machine!!
Everyone has access to the cartridge section on design space. Click 'images' on the left hand side then click 'cartridges'. Its right next to 'categories'
The same thing happened to me . It cut the image out as well and I did it the exact same way as the video . It’s best to cut the outline in a dark room so that it can read the cut lines.
I'm having the exact same problem. I gave up and just make the black registration line seem intentional. If anyone has the solution, please share. Please and thank you...
Hi Pam! I hope I know you figured out what went wrong. Sorry I’m so late answering. If you start by looking at the seven minute mark in the video you’ll see where I flatten everything - including the box around the card. That’s what makes it so it just cuts the outside edge.

Hi Kayla. I’m not sure I know what you mean. If you look at the seven minute mark in the video. You may see that I flatten everything. That may be what you were asking.
The best video I have watched for print and cut cards. Stayed up till the wee hours of the morning practicing and making cards. thank you.
I’m watching this while working and your instructions and voice is soothing! I just want to go home and do crafts now lol
This is the best video I have watched, because of the precise way you explained everything, thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!

This is very helpful. I'm really happy you mentioned buying envelopes... I would have made a bunch cards with nothing to place them in LOL
I wanted to print my own text but have it centered within the cut. Thanks so much! This helped so much!
Great video!! Love my Cricut and wonderful Cricut tutorials like THIS ONE!! Thank you so much. 💘
Holly, you are so welcome!
Very nice video, I love how you explained everything so perfect, this seems easy and I will try this on my own but actually using card stock lol
Thank you for being so detailed and showing from start to finish!!
Thanks for watching!
Hi there, what machine is this, which version?
Thank you for the great video! You explained print & cut very well! Will be trying it this afternoon.
How did it work out?
Wish I click like 100,000,000 times you are so awesome, you explain stuff so well. Thank You 🌸
Ahhh thanks!!!
Very nice tutorial video ! You are a very good teacher . 👌

Fantastic links, BTW, will use them!!

This was so helpful - thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! Music too! Love it! Great job!!
Is it the same with the cricut maker?
Love this tutoriel ! Thanks !
You're very welcome. Thanks for YOUR comments!!
So what did the Cricut cut? This was a print/cut project, right? I see a drawing on the card, but no cut.
Hi Rob! At the end of the video it cuts out the whole card outline.
@@PattyAnnesPlace - Ahh! Now I get it!

Great teaching skills🙌🏻

How do you save sag on circuit canvas
Great video. How would you make sure the sentiment gets printed in the correct place in the inside of the card?
I would make a box of size of the card that’s going to be cut out and then placed my sentiment on there.
Would it be possible to make a double sided card by not allowing it to cut the first time, printing what you want on the opposite side, and then allowing that to cut? Currently having a hard time making a 5x7 card that isn't folded T__T
Good video, very clear and well done. But I'm new and I feel like I need a PhD just to use this thing. I'm debating on buying one
Well, did you take the plunge? It is sooo much fun!!
Awesome tutorial!
if i dont a have printer at home and i want to print the cards somewhere else would i be able to save it and then cut the card once im home
I don't think you can save` anything outside of Cricut. If you design in Silhouette software you can.

My score tool did not do anything? Am I missing something?
I don’t see cartridges on mines is this an upgrade
Not sure I know what you mean BUT if anything, this video is probably an older one.
Awesome
Well l done
i dont have a printer so can i just do this as a cut?
Just make sure you put set your settings on "cut" instead of "print&cut"
I do not see a cartridge option to look for images. I do not have that option. What can I do?
Everyone has access to the cartridge section on design space.
Click 'images' on the left hand side then click 'cartridges'. Its right next to 'categories'
@@CajunPride777 I don't have that option either. I was actually just going to as the same question.
Can you do this with your own png image?
Yes!
Thank you for this tutorial, but when I make it, it cuts out my wording on the card but not the outline on the paper, what did I do wrong? Thank You

I don’t own a score tool 😱 can I still make cards without it?
Sure!
Can someone explain to me why the words on the card are also being cut? Did I miss a step?
I would need more details about what is happening. It would be great if you joined our fb group where you could post photos!
What about the inside?
my cricut is cutting my letters and design what am i doing wrong
You have to select all and then push flatten
Yes!! Like Amena said above… flatten. You can see me do this at about the 7 minute mark.
How did you get the words to just print but not cute

@@PattyAnnesPlace thank you I had a misprint on the word it's was suppose to say cut 😂😂😂 but okay I will take a look today thank you so much
Scoring tool does not work in explorer air.
just pick a design, who cares!
Oops. I don’t recall. Did it take me a long time? LOL
This is good but too long! You should have your choice made. I don’t need to watch you choose. Not worth my time.
Sheesh. And you should see how much time I spent making this video for people to hopefully learn from LOL
Great tutorial! Thank you!
This was very helpful. Thanks!
