I am loving the purple! I have been wanting to knit my own project bags so I will be checking out this pattern thank you so much for sharing and I am so happy to find someone who enjoys watching Love Island as well!!
I love love love that water lily color!! 😍 Addy is absolutely amazing. And I can’t wait for your tank top design. It’s going to be amazing (and in the perfect color)
I can’t wait for Big Brother either!!!! I always enjoy your podcast-even the yarn promos. I’m planning to order Ruby & Roses because of your pod. Keep up the good work!
I look forward to your upbeat podcasts. And wish I did a make 9 list when you did but will see what’s on your new list and be inspired. I like when you promote Indy dyers and your comments on yarn. It helps everyone who doesn’t have the opportunity to see new yarn and you have a good attitude toward haters. 😊 ❤
Hi I really admire the fact that you are designing a knitted tank top! Wow! Good for you and thank you for shattering that with us. I really enjoy your videos.
Listen, I tried Dusty Yarn Co because of you working with them and I LOVE. So respectfully, I love when people share who they work with haha I had never heard of her until you. Also- I love the tank top design! Can’t wait to see what it looks like fully done.
Congratulations on starting to design your own tank top. You’re off to an awesome start. Very exciting. I wouldn’t be too concerned about people not wanting so much about promoting gifted yarns. I, for one, love getting the opportunity to see yarns that are not available locally here in Canada and get your thoughts of how it knits up. You can’t please everyone so please do what you want. Awesome podcast. Your poppy tee looks awesome and the hat too.
Thank you for reminding me that my make 9 list CAN be dynamic and I am allowed to change it, and I don't have to feel bad for doing so. It seems silly, but sometimes I need reminding of those things :)
I really like your podcast and think you do some amazing knits. I understand indie dyers send podcasters promotional products I also like to promote LYS so we continue to have wonderful yarn shops. I was quite unhappy at the 12 weeks turn around time on the Taylor Swift collection from R&R. For me, that was way too long It has made me look at future preorders more carefully.
I’m not sure I would do a handspun blanket. As you go, your spinning will get thinner, and then you’ll work on getting thicker again when you decide to spin for a sweater. It’s difficult to make a blanket with chunky and fingering weight yarn. You might be able to squeeze a hat out of the green.
@@knitcalifornia And yes, you will eventually spin for a sweater. You’ll see an Andrea Mowry pattern or something else that calls for Spincycle and think “I can spin that” and there you go. Just don’t make my mistake and mix your superwash yarn that grows like crazy until you stick it in the dryer (Malabrigo) with your non superwash yarn in the same project.
As someone who almost exclusively knits fingering weight (for 10+ years I have only knit 1 sport weight and 1 DK weight item) it makes me giggle when creators don't enjoy fingering weight! It's just so much easier on my hands and I love the weight of the finished objects. But, the time spent on each project can be very daunting!!
Nothing bad about yarn promos. It is jewelry, square space, dried foods etc that knit podcasters are doing now esp when you pay for ytube premium to get ride of commercials Thank you
I've done the jewelry promos too! It's nice to get paid to do ads on our end, even if it's not craft related... almost everyone wears jewelry, uses websites, eats food, etc, so it's all still applicable. That's how I see it ❤️
Don't listen to the people telling you you do too much promo. It's nice you get yarn, and it's nice of you to promote it in turn. People gotta live off of something. And nobody forces you to buy anything. I am not buying from the majority of dyers because I use plant-based yarns only, doesn't mean I cannot look at the stuff.

I think a handspun blanket would be super cool! Loooove the tank!

That makes me so happy!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love when you share yarns you use. Especially when you have affiliate links, means I can save money when I try it. Keep on sharing girl!!!
Thank you!
The color of that poppy tee is absolutely gorgeous!!
Thank you! I'm loving it!!

Your knitted pouch is amazing and you picked a great color for it too. Love it.
Thanks! It was so fun and quick to knit!

That's definitely my hesitation with the idea of a handspun blanket! I'll have to keep thinking of ideas.
@@knitcalifornia You could always take up weaving. Hanspun looks so beautiful woven.

@@PelafinaLievre oh nooooo 🫣 I’m waiting for the day that my spins get a bit thinner and more consistent! Someday!
Girl! Get.your coin! Promote those dyers!
