How I control coal dust in the house

    I forgot to mention about the Feit smart plug in switch controlled by Wi-Fi, it's the little white box in the middle right area of the fan. It enables me to turn on the fan anywhere in the country by a phone app!

    One thing I have discovered is if you use a shop vac that doesn’t have a top quality dust bag installed, the ash dust will pass thru and float in the air all over your house. I have a Mark 2 stove also. The ash is so fine it is almost invisible as it is moved from room to room. If you do use a shop vac to clean your stove vent the exhaust outside so the ash doesn’t pass thru into your living space.

      Yes the dust is super fine...thus the small micron filter

    There is one thing that you have NO control over when burning coal is how the coal dust clings to windows. I clean the inside of windows on the first floor monthly! And when i clean them the paper towels are black!
