    Tell your neighbor to go F himself. The fire-chief tried the same thing with me. I told him to get the H off my property as he could not enforce the burn laws. I had to print out the ORC that showed only the Ohio EPA could enforce burning laws. He left with his tail between his legs. If your neighbor keeps complaining, check your burn laws. A ceremonial fire is usually allowed.

    Im glad I got the neighbors I have. We'd help eachother with a project like this. Instead of complaining about it, I'd help show them how you do it right. We all work together in my community. Its nice having neighbor that help eachother vs fighting each other. I grew up with a neighbor that was more worried about what was going on at our house. I wish he would have just minded his own busy and let us alone. Your neighbor is going about his business, your letting it get your head.

    • @plnthrd
      @plnthrd Месяц назад

      Our neighborhood used to be like that too, everyone helped everyone else. When this guy moved in I offered my help for anything he needed but he declined, so I just backed off. He owned the property for three weeks when he trespassed the first time with his tractor and tore up my lawn and put a huge gouge in my brand new driveway. Then he started to tell me what I can and can't do on my property, so I ignored it until he started to make complaints to code enforcement against me. Code enforcement inspected my property and found no violation. After that I started getting threatening letters from his attorney. I had enough, and reported him for 9 violations to which he was cited for 8. Shortly after he moved a family of migrants into his GARAGE. Code Enforcement cited him for that and made them move out. reinspection showed they moved out. 4 days later they moved back in the garage. Now he had locked down his electric front gate and when another neighbor made a complaint that they had moved back in the doctor denied entry to the inspector unless he was present 2 days later. They moved the migrants out the day before the next inspection and he flew into a narcissistic rage screaming at me over the fence for a report I hadn't made. 4 neighbors told Baltimore County that they were willing to testify in court that the family was still living in the garage but they refuse to get a search warrant for illegal occupation. After all this the neighbor without any proof filed a Peace Order against me claiming he was scared for his life from me. Long story short, this clown has cost me close to $4k to defend myself for the very things he has done to me. It's called projection and it's what narcissists do, they lie to everyone including the court system. Oh and now the migrant family is expanding into the lower part of the garage because his spouse is pregnant and needs more room. Anyway enough about this clown and his childish actions, I haven't told you half of how he's treated me. Pray you never have to deal with a narcissist it's UGLY!

    Why would you spend money for them to send a crew of Mexicans to puts your fence up without a care. I don't hire anyone to do any work anymore, because I end up doing it anyway because just slap shot tohlgether. I payed 5,000 dollars to have a fence installed I could have probably done for 1,000 2 years ago. And the gates are falling down. Yeah it only took them a few hours, but damn they did such a shitty job because they were just all about time. And that's been everything I've had done at my house. Hell, we paid $200 to have our carpet cleaned. They guys came in rushed though it, and we had to call them back to do it again. Nobody wants to work anymore, so all your get is shit work. I vowed not to hire anyone to do anything anymore. I'd be like your neighbor and just buy the tools I need to do a job, and I still save money, and it turns out a hell of a lot nicer.

      @plnthrd I did pay $5000 to have professionals install my fence. It's only been 2 years, and I want to tear it down and redo it. It looks terrible. The way they trimmed it out looks terrible, and the double gate doesn't even line up with each other. You can go shake the whole one wall. They didn't tamp any post. They just dumped a bag of dry concrete in the hole it put dirt back in. The posts are all loose. Just no body wants to work anymore. They don't care, they just want to work done so they get paid. Then we had professional come build a metal building for us, about a third of the way in I seen the work they were doing. I told them to leave and I'll just buy the kit and do it myself. A friend and I did it in 3 days, and it looks a hell of a lot nicer than what they would have done.

    Ignore, ignore, ignore. No contact, minimal reaction at all. Mind your own business. Avoid any small talk, waving, "helloing" etc. That's the main advice for any narcissist. You can tell a narcissist by their insistance on promoting that sort of interaction. After that, i'd advise you beware of their "projection"--which is a truly terrifying mental condition they have as a self-defense. Whatever they actually are feeling, they believe YOU are feeling it. If they are full of hatred toward you, they will believe YOU hate THEM and they'll feel 0k with destroying you since that amount of hate must be dangerous towards them. It is really scary. Especially when its a "stealth" type narcissist. They have hidden their narcissistic wound so deeply they don't even recognize it at all.. Remember-they feel entitled to your stuff, a good way to describe the narcissist is a lion who believes every single other animal should feel GRATEFUL to be their next meal, and should sacrifice themselves for that purpose.

    I appreciate your video. I am going through a similar thing across the Potomac from you with a couple of well off, sneaky, covert, highly educated narcissistic neighbors who we think may be trying to set the conditions for taking part of our property thru archaic Roman Empire era laws that still exist. I had to buy a small body camera to keep on my person at all times when outside so I can document everything. I have terabytes now. I also have trail cams on my property which they don't like but they have surveillance on my property which was there first. And I need documentation f their trespasses and conversations with me across the fence line. They harass me with their guard dog at the property line and have implicitly threatened me with the dog. They have trespassed, encroached, denied it, claimed no knowledge of the property line, implied I am watching them when I am really only watching my own property. I refuse to leave or sell my property and refuse to let them take it. Lawyers are not that helpful. They are at best disinterested in your case when you are the defendant. I have to spend the first half of each billable hour reminding them of the facts from previous calls before we can discuss way ahead. The neighbors are narcs but I will say they have me wondering if I am the narc. Projection like you say. They make themselves out to be the victims.
