      If somebody says U,R,U,R for example, "U" comes from "Up" and "R" From right. No prime means that face must turn right and if it had a prime,left. Im spanish so it took me a while to understand but maybe you both don't understsnd that yet. If not i don't know how to help you.

    Great video, the best one I've seen for a beginner to solve the cube. A couple things I'd add: on Step #3 if the edge piece you need is in another side (not on top) just do the algorithm like you are placing another piece in the spot of the edge you need, and you'll swap it out and put it on top, then you can put it in the right place. On Step #4 after you get 3 in a row of yellow make sure that goes left to right across the cube, not front to back before you solve the other part of the yellow cross. On #5 if two edges match you may be able to just turn the U (top) to have only 1 edge match. On #7 I'd add that after you solve 1 corner, some pieces will be out of place until you repeat for the other corner. Make sure to hold the cube in the same position (yellow facing you) and carefully do the algorithm a complete cycle each time before checking if the corner is solved. Once the first corner is solved, do the same thing to solve the second corner and it will also fix the pieces that were moved out of place when solving the first corner.

Tried watching some videos but, after that RUclips would end me up with some other recommendations and I would end up with watching something I never wanted to.
    I finally decided to buy a rubicks cube and determined to solve it. Searched for a RUclips video, and the first one was this. Watched carefully, paused at each steps and tried. I was stuck at the last layer for an hour. Watched few other videos to get more idea. In one hour i was able to solve the cube twice now.

      Your comment is very inspiring and emotional. Yes I know that many things can be very frustrating, but we can let them no longer be if we tried so hard and never give up even after a long time. Now I am going to try to solve the 3x3 cube I hope one day I can solve it in at least 15 minutes.

      Hey! I'm kinda into cubing and watched this Tutorial Out of fun and i totally understand you! Theese algorythms aren't helping very much. If you are Stuck at aligning the Cross, find the Position where 2 colors are in the right place and hold the Cube so that they are in the Back and at the left. Then do this: U R U R' U R U U R' then all the edges should be in the right place. If only one Edge is in the right place you can do the algorythm from anywhere and then 2 edges are correct and you can start again. To get the Corners in the right place, you search for a Corner that is already in the right place. If No Corner is in the right place, start from anywhere. If a Corner is in the right place, hold it in the Front right place. Then do this: U R U' R' U R U' R' U R U' R' Turn the Cube so that you See the White piece thats on top at the Front left and then do U' L' U L U' L' U L U' L' U L. If still only one Corner is in the right place, do it again, If the Corners are solved, i'm proud of you "hypers". Now the Last step: it seems Like everything is going to be ruined, but i promise you it's Not If you do it right. Okay so: Turn the Cube upside down so that White is at the top and yellow at the bottom. The color facing you doesn't Matter. So now: If the Corner, thats in the right bottom place is already solved, Turn only the bottom layer, so that the Corner in in the right Back (B). Then do U R U' R' until the Corner is solved correctly (thats either 2 or 4 Times) and again Turn only the bottom layer so that the solved Corner goes in the Back right which is a B move, Not a B'. And then your Cube should be solved! If you have any Problems Message me per Instagram (yvys_photography) and i'll Help you!

    • @ivancalpatura4779
      @ivancalpatura4779 3 года назад +4

      This doesn't really work out for me, but there's actually another method where you fix the third layer by:
      - Getting all the yellow on the top first
      - the the corners of the third layer
      - then the edges of the third layer
      The main problem with this other method is that you have to memorize two different algorithms. One of them rotates the back.
      You can do the cube site is down but that's where I got my reference to solve my 3x3 and 4x4 which was a core factor to solve the 5x5.

    Thanks a million, Brightside! Had it when i was 9 or 10 years old and could only manage one color, (no RUclips at that time). Think i wasn't that bright though, tried it again and again and again in coming years but to no avail. FINALLY, at the age of 51 years i have managed to solve it thanks to Brightside.
