Now I am solving it using the advanced CFOP method trying to learn every algorithm for OLL and PLL and my best time is 23 seconds so far. I almost gave up many times after a week of trying to learn the beginners method 4 years ago. NEVER GIVE UP! Thank you for making this video Edit: my new pb is 21 seconds!
@@ivannasun560 no he made a tutorial which will only can solve by the same pieces he has... I had another type of corners but I don't know how to do that's why many got confused 👍
That's PROBABLY (just a guess dont be mad pls) because your not using an original rubik's cube, original ones are quite expensive because they move fast and smoothly.
@sofiaivanova8432 it's not a lie, you just need patience. It took me a week to figure it out. And a lot of commitment and determination. Once you've done it it will have been worth it. If you can't do it from this video, then search up 'Rubiks cube tutorial' and pick whatever you desire. This video is not a lie though, look at the other comments! It took them ages as well!
*How to solve a 3x3 Rubik's Cube in No Time:* 1. Algorithms 2. Memorize Algorithms 3. More Algorithms 4. Some more Algorithms 5. Even more Algorithms 6. Another Algorithm 7. Yet another Algorithm 8. Paint over it 9. Disassemble it and assemble it back 10. Watch a BRIGHTSIDE video teaching how to solve it
It also confused me but i noticed that you just need to learn the Algorith Jerga. If somebody says U,R,U,R for example, "U" comes from "Up" and "R" From right. No prime means that face must turn right and if it had a prime, left. Im spanish so it took me a while to understand but maybe you both don't understsnd that yet. If not i don't know how to help you.
Ya like he says rotate top layer of cube to have a corner that's the same color of centers of the other side. Whereas I don't see the guy doing it. Nome of corners there were same color. And which corner is he talking about anyway? Top or bottom? And center of other side... Which side? Left? Right? Or the back? So confused lol. I am literally stuck on that step for a week now. Please if someone knows how then tell me
Great video, the best one I've seen for a beginner to solve the cube. A couple things I'd add: on Step #3 if the edge piece you need is in another side (not on top) just do the algorithm like you are placing another piece in the spot of the edge you need, and you'll swap it out and put it on top, then you can put it in the right place. On Step #4 after you get 3 in a row of yellow make sure that goes left to right across the cube, not front to back before you solve the other part of the yellow cross. On #5 if two edges match you may be able to just turn the U (top) to have only 1 edge match. On #7 I'd add that after you solve 1 corner, some pieces will be out of place until you repeat for the other corner. Make sure to hold the cube in the same position (yellow facing you) and carefully do the algorithm a complete cycle each time before checking if the corner is solved. Once the first corner is solved, do the same thing to solve the second corner and it will also fix the pieces that were moved out of place when solving the first corner.

Thank you so much bright side. To be honest i watched it for like at least 50 times and after that i only could get to stage 4 then i gave up and took my rubics cube after a month yesterday and within a day now i can solve the rubics cube under 4 mins . Thanks. Wanted to add this skill in my skill book and today i have done it!!
After 33 years of my life and trying multiple times, I always left it getting frustrated. Tried to read a couple of algorithm but couldn't understand. Tried watching some videos but, after that RUclips would end me up with some other recommendations and I would end up with watching something I never wanted to. I finally decided to buy a rubicks cube and determined to solve it. Searched for a RUclips video, and the first one was this. Watched carefully, paused at each steps and tried. I was stuck at the last layer for an hour. Watched few other videos to get more idea. In one hour i was able to solve the cube twice now. What a way to start 2020 I can die peacefully now ☺️
Your comment is very inspiring and emotional. Yes I know that many things can be very frustrating, but we can let them no longer be if we tried so hard and never give up even after a long time. Now I am going to try to solve the 3x3 cube I hope one day I can solve it in at least 15 minutes.
My friend can solve a rubiks cube in 1 minute and I take 10 minutes to solve almost all the pieces of one color and then ask him to do the last one for me.
The cross part makes me so confused because i have to match them but when i match the 2 colours together THERE IS ALWAYS 1 COLOUR THAT WILL MESS UP MY MATCHING
Bright side: this is really easy! Me: ok! Bright side: L U R’ B B F’ L’ L R F B L R’ R’ B B’ F U D’ D’ R L’ U U R D’ Me watching for 10 seconds: I give up
It was really helpful, all the other websites and tutorials didn't say that you were supposed to make a daisy before doing the white cross and the steps were well explained
This tutorial got the concept right, but it’s really undetailed and complicated. The teacher is probably a beginner himself. He didn’t explain most cases which will get you confused.
i reallly thought it was easy untill i reached the final layer.I am watching the vid from the last 1 year and still not able to solve it lol!this guy literally taught me patience
Hey! I'm kinda into cubing and watched this Tutorial Out of fun and i totally understand you! Theese algorythms aren't helping very much. If you are Stuck at aligning the Cross, find the Position where 2 colors are in the right place and hold the Cube so that they are in the Back and at the left. Then do this: U R U R' U R U U R' then all the edges should be in the right place. If only one Edge is in the right place you can do the algorythm from anywhere and then 2 edges are correct and you can start again. To get the Corners in the right place, you search for a Corner that is already in the right place. If No Corner is in the right place, start from anywhere. If a Corner is in the right place, hold it in the Front right place. Then do this: U R U' R' U R U' R' U R U' R' Turn the Cube so that you See the White piece thats on top at the Front left and then do U' L' U L U' L' U L U' L' U L. If still only one Corner is in the right place, do it again, If the Corners are solved, i'm proud of you "hypers". Now the Last step: it seems Like everything is going to be ruined, but i promise you it's Not If you do it right. Okay so: Turn the Cube upside down so that White is at the top and yellow at the bottom. The color facing you doesn't Matter. So now: If the Corner, thats in the right bottom place is already solved, Turn only the bottom layer, so that the Corner in in the right Back (B). Then do U R U' R' until the Corner is solved correctly (thats either 2 or 4 Times) and again Turn only the bottom layer so that the solved Corner goes in the Back right which is a B move, Not a B'. And then your Cube should be solved! If you have any Problems Message me per Instagram (yvys_photography) and i'll Help you!
This doesn't really work out for me, but there's actually another method where you fix the third layer by: - Getting all the yellow on the top first - the the corners of the third layer - then the edges of the third layer The main problem with this other method is that you have to memorize two different algorithms. One of them rotates the back. You can do the cube site is down but that's where I got my reference to solve my 3x3 and 4x4 which was a core factor to solve the 5x5.
@Liam MacQueen now that i have learnt cfop. (Cross, first 2 layers, oll, pll) i am able to solve it in an average of 18 seconds. My best is 13 seconds. This video gives you the insights of the cfop method which is a faster method.
Took me a month cause I was to frustrated and kept messing up, but once you know how it’s easier than you think. I’ve done it 5 times today and it’s worth the wait
Thank you so much for this! I was buying a 3x3 Rubix Cube and realized "you just wasted your money on some cube you can't even solve!", So I find THIS video and it really helped, thanks alot!
I was able to get to the last step but I messed up with orienting the corners which caused me to destroy my cube in the last step. I guess I might find another video
I then just now realized that this algorithm is easy but you can’t always get the results bright side had. I have tried for an hour and copied every thing he did but didn’t solve the rubies cube
Thanks a million, Brightside! Had it when i was 9 or 10 years old and could only manage one color, (no RUclips at that time). Think i wasn't that bright though, tried it again and again and again in coming years but to no avail. FINALLY, at the age of 51 years i have managed to solve it thanks to Brightside.
I was persistent and kept following each and every step... Messing it up over a hundred times... But i slowly started understanding all the steps... I am proud to say.. I finally did it!! Thank you

Step 3: my brain breaks and I can't understand what I'm doing and get lost. Lol
I keep coming back to this. Then I start over
Same, step 3 got me dying
Don't feel bad I couldn't get past step 1
Yup.
I eventually mastered it. Hope y'all will as well. Just repeat over and over
I'm struggling with step 3 as well but Imma figure it eventually.
It was really helpful, all the other websites and tutorials didn't say that you were supposed to make a daisy before doing the white cross and the steps were well explained
Did anyone notice there are 2 yellow centers in thumbnail
Mohammed Saifuddin There looks to be 5 orange corners in the thumbnail too.
Good eyes!
Aaahhhh cursed image
Yes, I noticed

This tutorial got the concept right, but it’s really undetailed and complicated. The teacher is probably a beginner himself. He didn’t explain most cases which will get you confused.
the last step is not working out for me, the corners are just coming back to the same position I started in, any ideas y?
@Forever Young why?
@Forever Young nice im glad you told them you do but didnt actually offer any advice
I agree and I feel the method is not best for beginners
@@bama-yam eh I did my first cube in under 10 minutes and my first without instructions in under 5

What they did: solve a rubik’s cube
What I understood: RURU
Lol me too dude XD
AHAHAHHAHAHA
Lol
Me too lol
Cubes call it the sexy move because if you repeat it really quickly it looks sexy af
i reallly thought it was easy untill i reached the final layer.I am watching the vid from the last 1 year and still not able to solve it lol!this guy literally taught me patience

Make sure no corners are ever twisted or else it will never solve
This doesn't really work out for me, but there's actually another method where you fix the third layer by:
- Getting all the yellow on the top first
- the the corners of the third layer
- then the edges of the third layer
The main problem with this other method is that you have to memorize two different algorithms. One of them rotates the back.
You can do the cube site is down but that's where I got my reference to solve my 3x3 and 4x4 which was a core factor to solve the 5x5.
1 single algorithm
But here’s a slightly modified algorithm
And here’s another one....and another
Do u want to solve it or not
Saqib Sajjad Chahil I have solved it many times...but never using ☝🏽 single algorithm
It’s the easiest way it’s pretty much 5 algs just used is specific points and cases
This method takes soooo long
Matthew Watson but one of the easiest
RAHHHH THIS IS TRIGGERING (me trying to figure this out) 😂
Him: A lot of people mess up on this step so be careful
Me: *messes up*
Jello Idk how to do that step man
If you are still struggling you probs are t cos it’s been a month but watch how to solve a cube by this channel called wired it’s much more simple

I did it! I finally did it! It took me 4 months. It helps as it builds the speed cubing foundation
@Liam MacQueen now that i have learnt cfop. (Cross, first 2 layers, oll, pll) i am able to solve it in an average of 18 seconds. My best is 13 seconds. This video gives you the insights of the cfop method which is a faster method.
And if you want your time to get even faster, get a speed cube. I recommend this cube ---> Gan 11m Pro
Thanks 👍🏿

I solve in 30s
Took me a month cause I was to frustrated and kept messing up, but once you know how it’s easier than you think. I’ve done it 5 times today and it’s worth the wait

I watched lots of videos on cube solving but this video changed my whole life by making me feel i cant solve this cube in my lifetime.Thank you❤
Have you solved Rubik cube
xD🤣🤣😂
😊😊😊
One step at a time :)
Hey can you tell me in 6th step when your just two edges are matched but the other two is coordinate with each other how to solve it?
Thank you so much for this! I was buying a 3x3 Rubix Cube and realized "you just wasted your money on some cube you can't even solve!", So I find THIS video and it really helped, thanks alot!
Everything he says is so incredibly unspecific
Ci Fur ikr
It takes a while to get but it makes sense the more you listen and the more you practice it
And for the white cross, I don’t do the daisy. I just build the white cross from scratch by building it around the white piece, not a yellow piece
I was able to get to the last step but I messed up with orienting the corners which caused me to destroy my cube in the last step. I guess I might find another video

It was soo easy i didn't know
Thanks a million, Brightside! Had it when i was 9 or 10 years old and could only manage one color, (no RUclips at that time). Think i wasn't that bright though, tried it again and again and again in coming years but to no avail. FINALLY, at the age of 51 years i have managed to solve it thanks to Brightside.
Mark uhhh that was a big waste of time
Rahul 007 bruh he spent almost half a century trying to solve it and then you say that
I love that the video starts with "eventually giving up"
I was persistent and kept following each and every step... Messing it up over a hundred times... But i slowly started understanding all the steps... I am proud to say.. I finally did it!! Thank you
I am at the stage of trying everything again, but I'm already getting used to it
