I don't know if anyone in here can help, I drive a 10 speed ProStar whenever im down shifting to 5th gear it takes a few seconds to select so the semi would run like it's in neutral then it selects or sometimes I would have to keep a steady rev on it until it selects what could be the issue here.
Nothing really out the normal bro especially if it’s a truck many people drove, guessing you are new? It could be that you haven’t gotten the hang at downshifting yet too, no hate everyone’s gotta learn, but honestly it’s junk 10 speed, 13,18 speed are just easier and better to drive/downshift, in a 10 speed the low gears are super close also depends on gear ration on rears, I’ve driven 13s for the most part I’m in a Pete 10 speed, belly dumping, and I have to slow way down look at your speed, for me it’s right at 9mph to be in 5th, my real guess is that you just need to slow down a bit more and you’ll get it. All trucks are different and all have their sweet spots, keep at it driver👍

Its called a combination trailer. Can haul the logs and scrap metal like an end dump
