Utathya Manna ur comment makes no sense at all, sarfaraz has been doing a much better job as captain than any pak capt in the previous decade, he knows how to handle the team, and where did english even come from, what does speaking English have to do with anything, speaking English doesnt prove anything about ur talent as a player or a captain, he cant speak good English but he’s still capt of his country in all three formats and serving his country with pride, u i assume can speak good eng bcz of the remarks u made but ur here sitting on ur couch doing nothing with ur life but commenting on youtube

See they both(aus & pak players) cheated but 1 involved FIXING & other involved tampering the ball. So completely different scenarios.
Fixing shouldn't be compared to shining the ball(its completely on different level).
Both were wrong, the difference is what pak trio did was way beyond just simple cheating. They played with the sports, there teammates & MOST IMPORTANT BETRAYED THE FAN.

Amir is not the same that he was in 2010. For a fast bowler, losing 5 years at peak of his youth effectively means the end. There was no reason for a player to not be forgotten after commiting a crime like that and serve a long ban. Amir has been indeed very lucky to be playing for Pakistan again.

Salman Butt pushed Amir a little bit towards doing this spot-fixing as it was easy to threaten an 18-year-old, Amir accepted because he wanted to do it earn a little extra money. He was smart not some naive boy, the text msgs to the crooks proves this as Ian Chapell said. So I think his punishment was justified as he lost 5 years of his game what could be used to prove himself to the world. But now altruistic beliefs say everyone should be given a second chance and so has he been given.
Now who thinks that Sreeshant should also be given a second chance, just think that Amir was a left-hand pacer who is always in demand, Pakistan needed him and India did not need Sreeshant, they already had better players by then and again he was not that great. Amir was supposed to be in the leagues of great at least every commentator said so. So there is no reason to compare both of them as the remaining conditions are not the same.
