Thanks for hanging out with me and catching up on my recent knitty adventures! Please ignore the mussed hair in the second half (I really need to stop trying on cowls during my vids :P). Have you been on any fab crafty retreats? Let us know, so we can all add them to our wish lists!
I live on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia so you would have to travel a long way to us. I am attending a Knitters Guild Retreat in August in Southern NSW. Ann Budd from America will be there too. Cheers Paula
Felix & Oscar to Felix as Oscar, I love it! (My neighbours have cats named Lewis & Clark because they are always exploring.) Your Artus is beautiful--those colors were meant for each other!
WWW looked like so much fun. My last knitting retreat was a Baltic Cities yarn crawl. You whetted my appetite for a trip to Canada. Perhaps.... And Tinde is yummy! It's in my queue to knit and steek a Shetland-type shawl. Looking forward to your KAL.
I was at a bookstore just today and saw that knit your own dog book! As soon as you started talking about how you were going to use that yarn, I thought of that exact book! So fun! I can't wait to see Felix finished!
Always entertaining and funny! Glad to see that you're using that gorgeous Vicuna yarn for a very worth project. Oscar must be anxiously awaiting the arrival of his new buddy, Felix. 🐕
I just found your channel a few days ago, and i am hooked! I have watched nearly all your episodes, and am impressed with your level of knowledge and the careful way you present it. That said.... of course you will be teaching at that retreat next year!! It will be a hoot! Keep up the great episodes!
Thanks so much! All things about that retreat are still a big maybe, but assuming it goes ahead there’s a very good chance that I’ll be there one way or another 😁
Loved your vlog! I saw info about the trip but was afraid to go alone - none of my local knitting friends were interested. You have inspired me to think about going alone.
I have taken stainless steel dbl points on the plane. I have taken signatures #1 dbl points along with my 40 inch circular and never had a problem. They will also give you the option to mail to yourself anything they won't allow you to take.

@@paulamacdonald3222 Fantastic! Ann Budd is a great teacher. Someday I'll make my way to Aus - I'm dying to go there! 🥰

Lovely travels. Thank you 😊
Wonderful episode, as always, thank you ❤

In reality, he will only admire Felix from afar. I’d cringe to see him munching on his vicuña friend 😋

The vlog was wonderful. Great job!
Can’t believe it, I made it onto your vlog 😂. It was a spectacular trip. My first knitting retreat and I think I’m hooked.
Me too!!
Great summary of the trip. And yes, it was awesome!
Thank you! ☺️
So glad you enjoyed the retreat. Alberta is beautiful, I brag because I live here 😉. I would love to do the train ride.
Next time!
Good job with the travelog!! I enjoyed it.
Yay! Thank you!
I spied Stephanie Pearl-McPhee in your photos! I love & use her many tips.
She's amazing! I ALWAYS learn something from her. 🤩
Ur so funny. Thanks for the giggles!
Thanks for watching!

Go for it! I won’t hesitate to go alone again 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed your "slides". I'm watching it today (July 28/24) and my heart just aches for Jasper. 😢
Oh, I know! We’ve had our hearts in our stomachs for days. So grateful they were able to save a large part of the town site 🙏🏼

Maybe next flight I'll take a self-addressed envelope with me and feel braver about flying with my Signature needles 😋
I have the book Knit Your Own Cat!
There's a whole series. I guess it's a popular concept 😄
Please don’t run out of yarn!!!!! That would be di$$$a$$$trou$$$
Ha ha ha!🤣
