There are two conditions for CVT fluid change. 40,000 km as mentioned in the video but for a low mileage vehicle, it's every 2 years. So 40,000 km or 2 years, which ever comes first.
Hello It depends on your usability if you are city user and traffic is more then in that case go for CVT it will be a boon nowadays more people are opting for automatic.When i own a honda city that was manual that was also fun to ride because of the gear ratio's you don't need to change gears frequently and works fine for me.

If you can bargain on city then i would recommend for city as you will get more space ,power and a better car

Not an issue at hilly terrain as cvt performance is as good as on plains
