Such an awesome and unique platformer for the N64. It originally got criticized for being too short and easy leaving people who purchased the game a little disappointed, which is understandable, but original price tag aside.. this game delivers several good hours of fun! Due to it's popularity it even saw a sequel which fortunately doesn't differ much from this game. They both have their charm and it's hard to decide which one is my favourite.
This longplay features all crowns collected. You require a minimum of 20 on each stage to unlock the final bonus stage. Unfortunately the bonus stage is just a boss-replay which I left out of the video as it doesn't really offer anything new. I could've rushed through the game and not collected any crowns as they aren't particularly necessary, but I felt compelled to because it allows me to showcase everything of each stage (including little bonus areas). Also, if you collect 50 crowns in total you get to play the pool minigame on Stage 6!
if your simply trying to beat each stage without collecting the crowns it might seem easy, but when you start having to go off the paths to find some of them it can get hard quick depending on the stage, though the last 2 levels were still pretty tough regardless...kids land is the hardest stage in my opinion just because of how they really want you to master the tongue spin, especially in that last room before the boss...
Beautiful memories as a child playing this Game with my brother and our friends in the 90s. Time flies so fast
No, this can't be an hour and fifteen this waaay longer when I played, man I must've been wretched at this.
I remember renting Chameleon Twist 1 and 2, they’re alright; but both of them were pretty short though. Other than that, it’s got a good soundtrack with number 2 being my favorite.
I feel if they ever re-released these games, it should be a cheap combo. Ie: $5-10 for both games
What a decent game!
I'm not sure why this game popped back into my mind, but I'm so glad this video exists lol... I'm definitely shocked at how short the game actually is because it definitely took a lot longer for little kid me to beat it.. Though I really wonder how I even got the game in the first place... I doubt I actually asked my parents "Can I have Chameleon Twist?" No idea how I learned about this title to want to play it.
Woahhhhh. I remember always seeing this game at the rental store. completely forgot it exists lol
I remember this game as a kid

This stage needs to be in Smash Remix
My brother love this one too
The very first video game I ever played. My mom got me an N64, and 2 games to go with it. Diddy Kong Racing and Chameleon Twist. She told me to choose which one to play first, and I chose this. Now, I admit DKR is the better game, but I'm glad I chose Chameleon Twist first. I think it helped me appreciate the game more.
Yooooo Chameleon Twist! The second one was my jam.
Love love love this game❤
Sunset needs to remake and remaster the whole Chameleon Twist saga!
Remember the sequel to this?
