Former US president Donald Trump has claimed he played Elton John’s song “Rocket Man” to Kim Jong-un and presented the North Korean leader with a cassette of the hit during one of their meetings.
Speaking during the first night of his four-date ‘History Tour’ in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday, Trump recalled gifting a tape of the song to Kim when the two lunched together.
He said he’d asked Kim whether he knew of it, and when Kim replied he didn’t, gave him a cassette of the album and a machine on which to play it. “I made sure the machine wasn’t made in South Korea,” Trump told the laughing audience

Hello how are you doing?
This is just so awful and heartbreaking. Live in Queensland Australia where we deal with cyclones and floods every year almost. And it’s always devastating to the affected areas and people. Sending prayers to everyone in Mayfield Kentucky 🙏🇦🇺
Lonnie Kiss. Thank you very much for your kindness. From the U.S. to Australia..... blessings.
I'm also in Qld and moved here from Paducah KY. So I'm very familiar with that area. I've asked friends back there if they are ok or know anyone in our church that was impacted. Still praying for the good people back there. 🙏🙏🙏
Central US has a unique Geography that creates these storms. 2 parallel mountain ranges with a flat plain between them oriented N/S cold dry air from the north comes down and collides with moist tropical air from the Gulf of Mexico. It creates conditions that spawn supercells over Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska that spun off tornados across the rest of the area.

I live in south central ky. Everybody is pitching in and either going to help or sending supplies. KY helps Ky. We are Bluegrass Strong!
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by this disaster. May God rest the souls of those lost.
We're never as strong, as we are until we have to be. Never Do as much, unless the need we see. Only give our best, when we fail at mediocrity. We Love rather than hate when we admit we're one humanity. We always give more, when compassion moves our heart with unbridled generosity. We Become more of our potential when we are made to see, that clearly our minds can believe in unfathomable possibilities, while seizing every opportunity, here in lies one's destiny. More than our scars, higher than our stars, for in our flaws are what defines our features, they're uniquely ours, as human creatures.
We can run faster than on our slowest day. Reason better, and thinking it through all the way, regardless which direction our emotions may sway. We can find our voice when speechless, our strong words with meekness and our Courage in weakness. Always patience not quickness. Silence for peace than loudness, quietness of fear, not hopeless, for time and effort are equally unbiased. We are more than the stories we're told, we're the one's we write, each page unfold. We are the sum of our Lies and truth, fantasy, fiction, faith, and myths, no matter how uncouth. These are what shape us, our lives lived is the proof. We can be more right than wrong. More just than judge. More godlike than unlike. Reflecting Sunlight in our darkest night.

Everyone that lives in the South and in these Tornado path's over and over again, should be given help to make sure ALL homes have a Storm Shelter and ALL Businesses 🙏
Sounds like socialism
That is not practical. My safety is not your responsibility. The storm that ended up in Kentucky was seem to contain a double funnel cloud just outside my home town of Beebe Arkansas. A town, by the way, that was devastated by a tornado in 1999. When the high school was rebuilt, a storm shelter was added that opens to the public during storms that occur outside school hours. Many towns do have community shelters but providing shelters for all homes would be practically impossible.
@@blacksmoke3113 Sounds like your taking her idea to the extreme politically. Police and fire departments are also funded by taxes. I’m not necessarily saying such shelters should be funded by the government. However, it would be an excellent idea to at least create a building code law that mandates all homes and businesses to require a tornado shelter that is sufficient for each individual structure. At least in all common tornados regions.

DO NOT SEND THIS MAN ANY DONATIONS. I predict that you will see federal criminal indictments on the management and owners of the candle factory. Once the employees begin to speak, it's going to be impossible for a grand jury to not indict. The survivors want zero to do with these sweatshop owners.

SENDING ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF PRAYERS TO EVERYONE !!!
I've worked in several factories over the years. None of them ever took storms seriously. As an amateur storm chaser, I pay attention to the weather and know when a rotating storm is approaching. I told everyone at a place I was working in Caney, KS that we needed to get in the storm cellar. They all laughed it off. A brief touch down picked up a huge power panel that was on a pallet behind the factory and threw it on it's back. It was a near miss that could have been a lot worse. The guard at the security shack said the fire department in a neighboring town said there was no confirmed sighting. It would have been hard to tell as it was dark outside but anyone with chasing experience knows that you don't have to see a condensation funnel for there to be a tornado on the ground. The Kentucky storm was warned with spotters on the ground well in advance of anything in it's path. Something needs to be done about the negligence of these people who put production over preserving life and tornado shelters should be mandatory for all large employers in tornado prone areas.
No place of employment is worth anyone's life I would have left
Day 1 of orientation in the event of a tornado the shelter is retrim and the cut floor in the center of the factory. Wile working the first four years that was simple as I worked on the cut floor.. I would not have been stupid enough to leave during a tornado warning and try to drive 17 miles in farm country with no cover.
Hug your family and be sure to tell them how much you love and appreciate them. You never know what the next day brings. And forgive while you have a chance. Life is short, cherish every moment.
My deepest heartfelt prayers to you all. Sending lots of love hugs and prayers daily to all of you from me and my elderly dad in Odessa TX 😔🙏📖🕊️💖🤗💖🤗💖
I saw on another network that one of the employees there at the candle factory was told by her supervisor that if she left the plant early, she would be reprimanded for leaving and that employee stated they were never told about the weather or the tornado warnings until the factory was hit by the tornado and then they had no chance of leaving.
My heart goes out to all of those families.
Many employees are stating the owner did not say that at all.
Our prayers goes out for everyone, from a Hurricane Michael survivor who is still living in the driveway. Leaving can be as dangerous as staying. However. There should have been a place for All employees to shelter in place together not stay working spread out through out the building. I blame the management and supervisor's. Not following bad weather protocol.

@@Beardshire you mean the supervisors. CEOs rarely if at all tell the employees what to do. It could be argued that he did a poor job of training his supervisors for natural disasters but he definitely didn’t say that they’d be fired himself.

Most large communities in KY have a severe weather warning system. Of course they are imperfect, but i always wonder if we put too much confidence in them. Sometimes there is no substitute for just watching the sky.
This is a lesson if you see bad weather coming don’t go to work just for those few hours if your building isn’t considered a shelter. My heart aches for everyone who forgets the power of Mother Nature.
@Nom de Plume assuming you have a storm shelter at your house.
