Whelp, Voltron is officially over now. It’s done. This is so angsts now. Season 8 killed me. Almost. I choked because I was crying too hard. So, yea you could say Voltron almost killed me. And this did too. Anything could kill me now.
The final episode made me cry Niagara Falls. I won’t spoil it for people who aren’t that far yet but if you know what I’m talking about, you know the level of sadness and upset especially if you ship Allurance (don’t worry I ship Klance too)
I’m actually in awe. The angles and positioning and poses here got fairly complicated, like the one where you were looking from the sword up to her face. This is just astounding and I absolutely love it
I love EVERYTHING about this, but why do people want to protect the royal family? It seems like the quintessence is too dangerous and Keith is actually in the right? Also does this mean Keith dies bc if so i am Sad... anyway, fantastic job!!!
Thank you so much!! And good question... people want to protect the family because they're the ones who primarily run quintessence gathering. In this AU, Altea is so technologically advanced that now people need at least a small amount of quintessence to power nearly everything. It's like their electricity; it can be used for appliances, magic, medicinal purposes, etc. Collecting it is dangerous, but it's unfortunately necessary, as there aren't very many substitutes for it. Keith is in a pretty grey area- he's not necessarily right, but he's not wrong either! And no major characters die in this AU, he'll be safe! :) (Sorry this got really long aaa-)

This breaks my heart everytime I watch it. Mostly, because I could feel the heartbreak Keith and everyone around him is going through. It also makes me wonder if they would have reacted similarly in canon. That's what makes this animatic brilliant: the use of colour, expression and emotion that accompanied the song.

I loved literally everything about this animatic but these are my fav bits: The sheer EMOTION on everyone’s face in here was so beautifully conveyed, it’s so amazing. The one sided Shance from your docs adds another angst aspect to it and my heart is hurting. And the part where Keith’s knife turns into a dagger was so cool! This animatic was just the tops!

This animatic AU is so well done. I've only recently become interested in vld fandom (thanks to some klance fanart) and I'm watching every video I can find on YB. This animatic though caught my attention so much, it is really well structured and thought out in every detail; you didn't just attach the characters from Tangle Adventure to the characters from Voltron, you created a believable story and after reading the Google doc I wouldn't mind reading a fanfiction of this AU at all. Don't feel pressured of course, I only said that because I really appreciate the work behind it and all the effort you put into it. 🥰🤩

I loved literally everything about this animatic but these are my fav bits: The sheer EMOTION on everyone’s face in here was so beautifully conveyed, it’s so amazing. The one sided Shance from your docs adds another angst aspect to it and my heart is hurting. And the part where Keith’s knife turns into a dagger was so cool! This animatic was just the tops!

This animatic AU is so well done. I've only recently become interested in vld fandom (thanks to some klance fanart) and I'm watching every video I can find on YB.
This animatic though caught my attention so much, it is really well structured and thought out in every detail; you didn't just attach the characters from Tangle Adventure to the characters from Voltron, you created a believable story and after reading the Google doc I wouldn't mind reading a fanfiction of this AU at all. Don't feel pressured of course, I only said that because I really appreciate the work behind it and all the effort you put into it. 🥰🤩
