Just some little helpful hints use rubber cement on insertion twist Tire Tool one time before pulling tool out of tire will reduce the possibility of pulling plug out with Tire Tool cement will help seal the plug
Plug kits are awesome used them a few times . That’s a tuff spot on sidewalls to patch . I had to change my truck battery this morning . Truck Barely turned over .
DUDE,,, I've put 5 plugs in the actual side wall of my rock crawler and lasted a year. Then in removed them when they leaked and put 5 more back in. Now that's at only 20Lbs. max air pressure, but it fricken worked. Saved me the cost of a new or used tire. Not a daily driver, but I drove to and from the rock crawling trails with it going over 200 miles total easily. Will do it again. Can't repair a sidewall,,, Pshhhh,,,, Also did it with a street car for a year with 3 plugs. No problems at all. LOL PHuK these guys saying it can't be repaired. My experience tells me otherwise!!!!
How you doing Sir... Just wanted to give the idea of patching, a lot better then a plug. Might make you use more time taking it to tire shop. Patches won't blow out.
I've put a plug on my truck tire 3 years ago and it's still holding and I have a plug kit in my truck with a 12 volt 150 psi compressor. I'll stick with a plug and time 👍
You saved me a good tire!

have you tried using the green slime sealer for tires
Never use that
I have works great 👍
Yeah the tire shops won't plug tires anymore and also won't do patches if more than 7 patches all ready on the tire.
Have a great day... Love the videos
Thanks! You too!
Any long term issues? Some say don’t plug the outer wall
I have done many plugs in sidewall. They say not to do it there because it could cause a blowout but I have never had an issue
So true l myself wouldn't do it

i have had nothing but good luck over the years in trailers and trucks
Was that nail placed their on purpose? Or was it an accident. Cause my tire is the same and I'm looking for all posibilities please answer.
this was an accident and we get this all the time with our business vehicles the plugs work great for us if it is a smaller nail or screw

Great suggestion!
Tire shop won't plug or patch any hole on tire edge or side wall

Jees
rubber cement acts like lube going in...and adds to bond...work smart , not hard
Uh oh you didn't use rubber cement..
I usually don't but you can!
👍
I used drill instead 😂
