I went more for a dispersion/reload build with a hint of penetration. Does very well for me got my reload down to 11.8 seconds
soa duguay truin tier 3 type of reload just a little faster
Meet series is the best, in your road to Edinburgh you have to put a special Smogathon build in that ship, very fun to play that way.
I swear I think I’ve seen that guy in the Georgia before, ironically enough he was doing the exact same thing: chasing somebody into a corner of the map and shooting HE at a cruiser. Needless to say it went about as well for him as it did in this match.

The Riga is the missile cruiser in the movie Firefox… interesting that she was never built but I just assumed that she was because of that movie.

Lots of people have been having trouble with overpens in the Riga. Maybe I’ve been just getting good RNG, but the 220s seem to be behaving for me. Ive had quite a few good games. Many of them losses, but with me at the top of the leaderboard and high damage or maybe a high caliber and/or dreadnaught.
Positioning is what will make this ship perform, and that takes a while to learn. I’m still leaning. Riga hits hard (with good RNG), but she’s not as forgiving as Balti.
The Georgia sums up perfectly the ability to buy tier 7 ships when you have no clue.

The gun performance of those 220s is similar to a 14in gun
Which is completely bonkers. 220mm=356mm its maths in mother russia
Apart from them throwing a shell that weighs over half a ton less with comparatively smaller bursting charge. However, at closer ranges the pen will be very high. I don't have statistics on this gun--it may or may not actually been developed--but typically Russian naval artillery fires shells of very good design at above average weight at very high velocity. Penetrating 12" of belt armor wouldn't be a great trick under 10k yards.
Probably because of the flatter shell trajectory as i find ships that shoot flatter hit a lot harder more consistently

Just wanted to say but uh amalfi has the same reload till you upgrade riga then it's better then can have the exact same reload if you do the same build on both

Yeah I don't do it often and it almost always backfires on me but I try to teach people why it's a bad idea to DC a single fire by recognizing my own mistakes

Hey Spartan, I have just recently obtained the Bismarck (which I really love with the 10.4km secondary firing range; today I got to close quarters expert or whatever it is called, on two dd’s and it was a double strike) and I am looking for a new project. I was thinking Iowa but what do you reckon?

Lol I have been told that it is the worst tech tree tier 7 bb but I liked its history and decided to get it. Hated the Kaiser, Konig, Bayern, but the Gneisenau is when I fell in love with the line. I miss the torpedos now that I have the Bismarck but it is overall the better ship (imo). I like the Arizona so the grid with the New Mexico shouldn’t be to bad (same with the Tennessee but I think the Kansas has is the worst ship in the game ((in computer)

What does increasing the minimum ricochet angle of your shells do? I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't know what it does or why it's useful
It makes your shells able to pen at steeper angles. Meaning you are less likely to bounce or ricochet
@@SpartanElite43 oh my, that's excellent. I've been playing this game nearly as long as you've been streaming and somehow convinced myself it made the shells ricochet MORE easily lmao sometimes I wonder if I'm made of clown shoes or just wear them

@@SpartanElite43 If You're thinking Baltimore than your Wrong or Wichita, no Torpedoes spartan and they don't have good HE Dmg, slow Turrets.
It's a Shame people judge the ALBEMARLE because it can get citadel at flat angles. But little do you know it's a secret Weapon. 🤝

My Personal opinion that the hipper or the Prinz Eugen are better than the Albermarle...they are thinner whats makes escaping easy they have 6 torps on both sides and they dont get thats often Citadelt...i played the Albermarle too i thinks its a fun ship to play still i like the hipper class more...👍
