I’ve been in Business for over 20 years, and I only got 1K PPP! My salon had to close for a while, bc of Covid. My landlord still wanted his money on time. And I paid him... But all of those cons got the PPP loans and went bought wigs and plastic surgery. 🤦🏽♀️ While the legit businesses had to struggle to stay open etc.

The PPP Loan is really a grant look it up. A grant is free money so even if one doesn't have a LLC they still can apply if they invest in the stock market, have a website, etc. Look it up. video search it

The PPP Loan is really a grant look it up. A grant is free money so even if one doesn't have a LLC they still can apply if they invest in the stock market, have a website, etc. Look it up. video search it

I'm disgruntled that the SBA and lenders made it so easy for people to get loans. They should have required tax returns be verified with form 4506T. That would have prevented most of the fraud.

In the beginning, they gave out the funds from a simple application that you could make up easily. It ended up screwing her when she had to show proof at the end of the year how she used the funds. If she had no business and no employees, she had nothing to show. Lockem all up.

My sister has a shop that she struggled to keep going in 2020. Everything that she applied for, she was denied. Yet we know people who have no business, but they got a PPP loan. Go figure.

FOH!! I've been to jail before I had kids, and once these ladies sobered up all they did was cry for their kids. Get on the phone and lie to those kids about how things are going to be different when they get out, sell those kids dreams. They will go home and come back in a month, week and even days. I made myself a promise that if I ever had kids I wouldn't do that to them, my son is 22 years old and all his seen from his mom is work and school. He didn't know I went to prison and that other life until he became a teen and wanted to run the streets so I had to tell him my story.

That’s crazy all this money was given to these scam artists smh I opened my own business 4 days before the mandatory shut down, spent almost all my savings reconstructing the building, equipment, advertising etc. and couldn’t get the PPP on the grounds that I was not opened last year! Made it through though, all Glory to God!
THat's pretty much the case. Many many many people who didn't even provide any criteria got the loan. The one's who turned in the right info were either denied or given a hard time.

I was this close to applying for a loan, actually on the website and made it halfway through the application and then I found out that I had to provide false documentation in order to go to the next step, nope, don't need that future stress in my life.

At the end of it all you can't flip stolen federal money and no matter if you pay it back you still going to prison and your kids and their kids are going to have to suffer for it. I know a girl that got the loan in her name and her disabled mother's name. She said she bought $900 worth of make-up. The cars, bags, hair, clothes, they gone look real good in court.
Everybody who judging her is wrong but first of all she probably was ignorant to the fact of applying for the PPP loan, however she got to do something. I'm not knocking her for trying to pay it back so that she can still be in her children's life.
