Omg!!! I didn't know she had a couple of good belts from this ERA 😍😍😍 She still the queen at her worst. Being this considered to be her darkest/saddest era. She always slaaaay.
that LOW NOTE at 3:21 then the twirl after that is fucking iNSANELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! how can she get that fucking low?!?!?! that low part always drives me fucking crazy!!!! love how she played with her ensemble & twirled with it too it went perfectly!

I think she rearrange the vocals in the song to fit her voice now. She knows what works for her so she does the safe route. The SSFT was night after night. So its not really a matter of she cant do it. Its vocal preservation so that she could still deliver good vocals the night after. The Elusive Chanteuse had breaks in it. But it was still inconsistent, the SSFT had literally no rest day but she still delivered stunning vocals. If she would be asked to sing one song for a guesting. Then that would be the time that she would use all of her guns. Hopefully the next single would be 🔥🔥🔥
That low note at 3:23 gets me everytimeeeeee 😍😍

hmm well in terms of musical innovation practically none. her songs practically never change much in style? unlike beyonce who, vocally weaker for sure, but keeps up with the times with her musical reinvention with each album, the reason for beyonce's continued success and mariah's musical decline. sure, mariah got the voice still but musically, its kinda stagnant

shes improved TREMENDOUSLY form here as good as this is.. her belting, tone, control, clarity EVERYTHING has improved so much!!! with that being said, theres so many good moments in this video i cant even get started lol her voice is amazing PERIOD
She made the Music World/Industry alive, then and now..,She is the epitome of a what a real vocalist song-writer should be.
Re this tour and MOAIA tour, I can appreciate that she took a lot more risks in those tours and served us with more realness. I've watched many clips from both and she sounds just fine to me. She just some moments here and there where her nodules flare up or she's just having an off day. Absolutely loved this video - thanks for sharing!
Yall really trying it lol since when was this considered Mariahs worst era vocally??? Just because it was her most disappointing commercially doesn't mean her vocals in this era were the worst. I think Rainbow and E=MC2 will always be the worst for me...she literally had no belting register at all during the Rainbow era and E=MC2 she lipped everything and her voice was so tired and dry in both eras. Rainbow and E=MC2 era Mariah could not have done the Emotions intro...tone wise..yes she was better in both eras but vocally she was not
