A thousand men, say, go searchin' for gold. After six months, one of them's lucky: one out of a thousand. His find represents not only his own labor, but that of nine hundred and ninety-nine others to boot. That's six thousand months, five hundred years, scramblin' over a mountain, goin' hungry and thirsty. An ounce of gold, mister, is worth what it is because of the human labor that went into the findin' and the gettin' of it.
Very informative, Drew. I like the points you touched upon. It's all about Supply and Demand. Also, It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. It irks me that some thrifters (younger mostly) would bash another for their taste in vintage. It's absolutely absurd and shows their level of maturity, without a doubt.
Good video!! I thing a good topic to cover would be how to build a clientele. What types of deals should a seller make with other sellers. How to network and grow your brand. Would be interesting to hear what you have to say about those things.
i really liked what you said about educating people on the history of pieces. People take the piss out of ya but thats bad for business because if they dont understand the history behind something hwo are they going to understand the value haha, thanks man
Thank you I was looking to know this exact topic and look at this … here you are I also follow you on Instagram where you’re bulldozing thru the competition . I enjoy the content on all platforms
Hi Frank - Found a Harley Davidson t-shirts at Goodwill. I Google lens it and a site called Artwanted said it was a Denny Karcher vintage T. What do you think it's worth? Thanks
I have about a 1k follower insta page with higher end pieces, I live internationally and have found especially the last week super tough trying to find and grab higher end stuff. Even since end of last year prices have absolutely sky rocketed and people are just not letting go of higher end pieces. It's a bitter sweet sort of situation because if you've got some decent pieces theyve gone up in value, but if you like to rotate, which I do, you just can't find high end stuff without getting absolutely taxed to the shit house
Do you help access the value of t-shirts? I found a DC comics label, Made in the USA white like new, single stitch t-shirt. The front has a rectangular picture of Batman with the word Batman on the bottom. Then on the back it says The Dark Night Batman. It doesn’t seem like it has been worn. Just size creases as if it’s been folded up for a while. I can’t seem to find another one when I do a google image search. Any ideas on how I can really figure out what it might be worth? Oh it’s a size Large too.
Thank you for this! I went straight to eBay! I have a escada by margaretha ley skirt and I have no idea what to price it! I was going to put £15!!! Then I seen on eBay £60-£150 for this brand. Help
I have a vintage biggie shirt and I’m just having a time trying to price it. I cannot find one on the market exactly like it. The tag says Bluez 2XL. What would you sale or for? ☺️
i think a big factor in the price of vintage that you left out is WHO is pricing it. A common unknown reseller can't charge as high of a price because the people who are known widely get to basically price it however they want. Couple things to think about!
One of my favorite all time finds: nyc marathon tee😞😢 Good vid, straight to the point. As a non curated vintage dealer, this is probably my #1 insecurity. I'm curious, what makes you am expert in this? 😂😅
Thank you for this. My Rolling Stones 1981 baseball tour t-shirt that I bought when I was 15 is still in great condition. I would like to sell it. I see it on ebay for $1000 and for $350. Help! TY
lots of rolling stones shirts were printed even in that time, they would normally sell for 200-300 depending on size which is usually somewhere in between a medium-large i actually just bought one from 1982 for 35$ on ebay which is a great price im looking to get around 170-200 for it, another factor is if you have a european one, they’re much more rare and can sometimes go for double-triple of the value

I'm curious how valuable my tshirt is? It's an authentic 1976 Farrah Fawcett tee in her famous pose. It's in excellent condition.
Size small. Original tag.
