Hey lady! Amazing and inspiring story. I found this video super helpful! In fact I’m watching it a third time right now. Do you mind sharing which grant you applied for and what that process was like? How quickly were you able to receive the grant after your application process?
Thanks for being so transparent. I’m in my 40s and having a boutique selling my designs has always been my dream. It can seem so far off with the expenses. You’ve inspired me to bring it to life. All the best
Just finished the entire video today bc I got cut off yesterday! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I feel like not many business owners explain how they got there, or even talk about the struggle with starting up your own business and how it could take a toll on your mental health. All you see on social media are people showing off their success, in a way, without showing the barriers they had to get past. So thanks once again, and I can’t wait for more :)
I didn’t plan on watching the full video, but I ended up doing so. I’m glad I did as well, your story is pretty inspiring and has motivated me at a time when I really needed motivation to go do what I’ve been wanting to do. God bless you for this.
I found your video as I'm in the early stages of launching a vintage store. Your tale is much appreciated. You've demonstrated strength by starting your biz and sharing this tale. Much respect! And shoutout to Toronto (I have family up there)!
Loved hearing your story! Being an entrepreneur is not easy and you showed the reality of that ☺️ I’ve been wanting to start a vintage clothing/home decor business for a few years but haven’t made the commitment yet because it didn’t feel like the right time. But hearing your story gives me hope that I can do it ☺️
This is so helpful, thank you. I'm hoping to open a vintage shop in the UK this autumn, and searching for "starting a store" finds sooooo many "how to start online store" videos. Glad to see someone opening a physical shop!
Loved this video and hearing your story! As a fellow vintage shop owner it really brought memories up from my own business journey. I can really relate to that start up time where business is slow and your are really worried all the time. And really broke ! Been there ! Luckily now 5 years in my vintage shop is quite successful. But those first years I will never forget it !
Just wanted to say that I really love Grandma’s Basement! I’ve admired it from afar on instagram/online - never been in person, I hope I can sometime! Starting your own shop is admirable and so so cool. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Hey sis! It's Zorie. Even though I already know some of this info since I'm your sis, but I miss you a lot and I love you very much. Love ya. Btw for everyone who might ask, we are related😀
I’m 13 but have been wanting to figure out options for what I want to do in my future. I stumbled across this video and it’s inspired me so much. Opening my own little thrift shop sounds so right! Thank you for helping me figuring out my future🤍
This gives me hopes for my ideas. I feel like I was all into the makeup at one point and so many other things, & I have privated so many of my old videos because I’m just like ahhhh CRINGE-Y!!😂 I’m getting more into my creative side and leaning towards painting, drying and handmade jewelry.
OooooOOo good question and good idea! It's so hard to describe the style I like, I think a mix between romantic/vintage?? I have tried different styles out in my shop and saw which ones did better than others and that really helped me solidify what items to choose, but for the most part, I just pick things I would personally wear hehe
Thanks for sharing your story❤️ It’s really helpful. I was wondering, where did you start off with selling those welcome and Christmas boards that made you 4200 in profit?
Thank you so much everyone

Was also wondering, what style inspired you to choose certain items for your brand? Would love a try on haul 😍😍

Did you have to register as an LLC before getting the SBA loan?
the nerve of the single individual that downvoted this video
It was one of the suburban moms I sold a welcome sign to
so is it legal to buy thrift clothes and resell them in your vintage boutique? do you need a license to do this???
