I couldn’t agree more! The previous club I was in, exists no more. The reason: club house related issues. That is one of the most important lessons I’ve learned. New clubs… well, all the clubs, should put all the time and dedication into building their members, not bars and stages. Wo2’s, that was one full impact video right there! Thank you.

When I was in all of that years ago, we never aspired for a clubhouse. By not having one, it served as a way to keep the cops and what other enemies there were from knowing where we would be on a regular basis. Seemed to work better that way.
Hey Wild been in my mcc for 2 years now, we have a club house we all pay our dues it's part of and industrial unit inside parking we got the lot a bar tv pool table plenty of seating. So normally we have somewhere to go when the weather is crap in the winter it's great the officers deal with all the bills for heating shopping for food beers and stuff so when we are out on a run we come back for coffees and what ever which I mast say are free if you've been on the run out otherwise we pay a small fee for drinks and stuff it all go's in the pot for when we have barbeques in the summer . All very relaxed I'm not boasting just saying what we do keep safe man cheers : )

The business plan and bylaws are a big deal. Military members understand the concept as our clubs(Officers, NCOs, and NCMs) are run in a similar fashion(at least here in Canada). The dedicated meetings to discuss a new pool table, or updates to the bar, event scheduling, who is responsible for managing (re-order beer etc), an MC might also need a separate management committee (a deputy club treasurer might be needed to manage the clubhouse books etc) Many factors. A friends club here folded mere months after getting a clubhouse due to challenges such as you pointed out.

As a Christian Club do you know how many Cokes we need to sell to fund a clubhouse?? Ha yeah.... Hence why we dont have one yet. Some of our charters do and kudos to them but here where I am at we havent made that leap yet.

Or maybe you have ?This was just a rant over what I see that is obvious but folks keep making the same mistakes or assumptions about the club house. I try not to talk about other things that go on in the club house 😉.

Yup our chapter in my old club put us under quick. Only been in city 2 years and going good. Once we got a club house it turned us upside down lol
