Spider Animatronic Halloween Prop Makeover

- This Home Depot spider animatronic fit right in to my crazy, fantasy theme of “Space and Other Worlds” for Halloween. And, to bring even more life to this already colorful prop, I added a digital projection from the ATmosFX Eerie Eyes collection.

People amaze me so much with the all the detailed projection mapping they do to their houses, so I figure I can't go too wrong with a plate on this goofy spider. Thanks, Cobwebs!
Love what you can do with the projectors. There was a time I used them all the time. I like them in indoor setups instead of outside. You’re inspiring me to use them again.
I agree that---having it outside was kind of a challenge not only because of the weather, but because the 🦝🦝🦝 raccoons would come around every night and rearrange everything!!😅 Thanks, Glenn!

@@FraidyZone A few do but most don't... We typically do something. We are kinda known for being "That House" in the neighborhood. We get a pretty decent crowd. WE will do something this year but idk how much we will do. Getting harder to do... LOL The minds says yes but the body is trying to say something else! LOL. Do y'all get a big turnout?
@@knowyourjoe8826 I try to be somewhat inconspicuous (so the neighbors won’t get annoyed), so I don’t post any announcements. Even then, we get about 300 people.😉

@@FraidyZone Yes the smoke is finally starting to clear a bit for me Fraidy. Work on the other hand leaves me exhausted when I get home now. Florida is growing like crazy, especially the town I work in. I still have some things I want to settle. I moved the studio... again lol and now I have to organize. Hailey keeps on me about it. She wants to make videos with Daddy again. Good to see you again my friend. I hope you and yours are doing well.

Hi Scare Dad! Thank you! Yeah, I had meant to put this video together, but kept getting sidetracked with the Sideshow and House of Horrors theme, which is what I'm currently working on. When the projected eyeball was moving around, with all of the lighting and fog, it looked like it was actually a part of the spider. People kept sneaking into the bushes trying to figure out how it worked.🤣😂🤭
@@FraidyZone Hahaha. It's great when even the adults can't figure an illusion out. Helps to keep the magic of Halloween alive. It looked great on video, I am sure it looked even cooler in person with all your other props and effects.

Everybody was getting the 12 foot skeleton, but somehow I ended up with this purple spider!!I 😂 I think the instructions said it to keep it under a covered area, so it was probably only sitting outside for about a week.😬 Thanks, Joe!!---And if you lived closer, I'd give this "horrifying" spider to you, because my War of the World ships are already hogging up all of the space!💫
