This is so much better than the attempt I was making with expanding foam 😂 I’ll have to make a material run soon!
Very nice✨️✨️
I wish can read the font of the letters thats on the pattern. Having such a difficult time putting this together 😭😭😭
I'm so sorry for this!! :( the font its pretty easy to read I guess
Thanks allot my wife will be very happy with the patern :)
You are welcome!
I don't have 2 mm foam, but I do have a lot of 3 mm foam, can I also use that?
Also, do you maybe have a picture of the lekku when it was assembled, but not yet painted, so you can see how the pieces go together? Because I have trouble putting it together.
this is amazing
Thank you!!
I’m still waiting for the glue that you recommended but since I had some extra PVA foam I decided to start with a trial head piece and no glue is keeping these pieces together. I’ve tried three different types.
Always say that contact glue is always the best :) I use Pattex putty but I don't know if will be available out of Italy. Anyway in the Cosplay Shop.be website you surely find the glue for eva foam (link in description)
Help! What if i dont have a dremmel? Is there another way i can remove imperfections without ruining it?
You can use sandpaper but I never use it, I HIGLY recommend the dremel :)
On the Etsy site it says that the pattern is sold out. Is a restock planned or? I'd really like to make this as the instructions seems to be pretty easy
I restock it every time, now you can find it available ;)
Do you got Dimensions of your head maybe? It would be great, so that I know if I have to make the lekku bigger!! Great tutorial tysm
You're welcome! My head is 53cm of circumference (but the lekku pattern is a little bigger)
@@lilitcosplay Thanks a lot!
@@lilitcosplay My head is 56cm what do you thinky how should I print it?
You can print it at original dimension, put the pieces of foam together and when you make a fit test, you can trim some extra material on the seam at the center of the headpiece (only on the hairline zone) to make it fit better on your head :) I think that I will make a guide tutorial for this very soon, you can always wait a little bit for the video
I hope that I was helpful❤️
Which video shows how to paint the Eva foam?
I don't have a specific video, but you can see the process in almost every video tutorial in my channel :)
The Ahsoka series is still looking for a talented designer who will design the right Lekkus for you. I already got the application out ;-)
Super performance.
I'm looking for inspiration and ideas and improvements for my Darth Maul costume and for a friend's daughter to maybe make her an Ahsoka cosplay.
I've already cosplayed Darth Maul twice, but the hardest part is doing the make-up on my own. Especially the back head is difficult to make and the fine lines. Unfortunately I don't have a steady hand at the mirror. Drawing something on a piece of paper in front of me is no problem, but it's a lot harder to do it the other way around in the mirror.
It doesn't look easy for you, but I think I could do it, even if it's a bit difficult.
How did you measure this so these fit your head?
Great work 🙂
Thank you! I will make it on a mannequin that have my measurements so it fit me very well :)
Una bellissima Jedi
Grazieeeeee
Hola. Saludo
Muy bueno su trabajo.
Puede enviar por plantilla por correo y formato PDF 🙏
How do you keep it on your head and from slipping when you wear it?
it stay on my head because it's tight
Do you think hot glue would work?
Maybe hot glue it's not so good, i use it only for rough things
How much EVA Foam did you use?😊
less than 1m x 1m :)
