Hi Brad, Do it, build your own. Your an electrician so your used to drilling, cutting etc. lots of help on RUclips. I'm a Kitchen/shopfitter (or was) I build my own. Save a fortune. Don't dream. Do.👍
Me again Paul I am enjoying watching your Campervan build, I’ve got a old 1996 Hymer I’ve had it for about 12 years it’s been great but you seem to always spending money on it and when I see all the builds on RUclips and what you can do I would do what your doing so keep it up and enjoy it once you’re done and traveling about doing a bit of wild camping up here in Scotland 🏴 so big thumbs up to you and your misses 👍👍👏👏🚍
Hi Paul and wife (forgot your name sorry) are you fitting Solar panel?. Just a thought before you finish the ceiling and Batteries/electrics. If not, you should consider being a wild camping couple. Go anywhere without worry of power. Van looking cool, not a lover of the cladding myself, but seems a popular choice, probably for it's easy fit etc. Glad you're not boring us with the video length like some do.To the point content. Quality as always⭐️👍
Excellent video and presentation. Fantastic double act. Sure we’ve seen her before on the cover of Cosmopolitan... Thanks for taking the time to film and share. Looking forward to the next one. Mack and Maggie, Huddersfield
Your videos are very inspiring! Will probably never buy a Campervan but it’s still nice to dream about one. And for now just keep on enjoying watching your steps into Campervanland!
Great job , the only comment I would make is you can get cladding clips which avoids all the visible screws . Look at cladding clips on Wickes website. Paul .
This is looking great! A very good choice for the lights. If you want to do yourself a favor, make a rough wiring diagram, so that if you have some repairs to do, you can look up the wires on paper and don't have to pull the wood off the walls.
Really enjoying you both working together in your new adventure, me and my misses been on about a campervan for ages, after watching this I think we will be giving it a go! 👍🏻
And Jo said "Let There Be Light" and there was light 💡and then Jo said I'll put kettle on cause it's gonna be a long night for you Paul 🤣 Well done guys it'S starting to look like a camper van 🤗
Looks great, it's really coming together nicely. Hats off to you guys as its not an easy thing to take on. I bet it smells lovely in there now with all that wood
Great stuff..... Really enjoing these videos. One thing i did wonder is when i fitted these sorta lights in our bathroom we had to put covers on the top to give them ventalation so they didnt over heat and catch on fire ?
Really enjoying this series. I like your hiking and gear review vids very much, but it’s fun to follow your van adventures as well. Variety is a big draw I think. Good help there too! It’s more fun with a friend.
Awesome mate, loving this series🤘🏻even things like installing them lights look like such a challenging task, but you broke it down perfect! It’s quite simple in reality! Looking forward to see the end project in a couple months Paul 👍
You are quite handy, Paul. Even though you don't read the instructions for the dimmer before you put up the ceiling boards (not sure what you call it in english). You do land on your feet eventually. Just kidding. It is all coming along very nicely :-)
Have you checked how hot the back of the lights get? As they are pushed against plastic sheeting there is a risk of melting it. Maybe need to put heat resistant tape on the sheet before pushing the lights in. Just a thought in case they get too hot.

I'm an electrician and you have both done a great job 👌 Me and my wife started going for walks after discovering you and now we want a camper van 🤣

Little tip. When cutting wood with a saw, tuck your thumb into your hand alongside your fingers. It may save your lass’s thumb.
Nice job there but think about putting a solar system on the roof in the future so make a hole and pass a cable before you close the cyling .
Sure is coming along now
Whenever I go to hit the "like" button on your videos, I always see that I have already. Great content!
Enjoying the video?? No I’m loving this!! Watching you learn as you go is sooooo much more interesting. Jo is doing great obviously. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
