Damnit. This made me tear up when I completed the game. But that scene where The Hero and the Mayor stand side by side watching the reunion just _HITS_ hard
I hardly ever cry in a game, but then Jowee left his relationship because he wanted to adventure so badly (and Mari supporting his decision) while this song plays, dafuq, I actually sobbed.
It's amazing how I stumbled upon this game because I mistook the title for another game that my friends were all playing,"Scribble Nauts," and ended up buying this instead. It turned out to be way more of an incredible experience than what I would have gotten from the game. I'm so glad I got to play this through. *tears*
For whatever reason, this song; no matter how many times I hear (or sing it), I can't fight back tears. Drawn to Life is the pinnacle of what video games are; meant for creativity and fun, and this short-lived series really showed off what the real gaming community is. Also what makes it better is that the song is being sang by the creators of the game, real life partners and dang-good singers. #LongLiveDrawnToLife

I'm all grown up now. It's been 9 years and this is the only song that brings me to tears. It reminds me of the best times of my life that I will never be able to experience ever again.
I finished the first game not so long ago (around 4 months) and I did not expect that so much that I cried during the whole song and even ten minutes after I was still crying in all the emotions : shock, joy, sadness (finished the game), nostalgy (already), admiration and just to the beauty of the song. That game emotionally messed me up inside so much... I wish I could live the first experience again and again and again... I love you 5th cell, THQ, David J. Franco, the community, everybody ! I love you all !
@@dylanstone9724 I'm trying my best to keep this community alive. Last friday, I talked about the game to a friend and I recommended him to check it out, at least the OST.
I played this game right before a critical changing point in my life. It was 2007, and I was 12. I had a few very close friends in a small town, but I had to leave that all behind when I realized my dad was never going to stop being abusive and manipulative. I had to say goodbye to my best friends, and leave everything I knew behind. It was one of the hardest choices I had to make. I'll never forget this game, it and others helped me through this horrible time. I'll also never forget the friends I made, or the life I had.
"Ba du dum da da du dum.." That intro makes me nostalgianate so damn hard. Yes, that's a word now. Also, these two games (Next Chapter DS and this) are two of the most beautiful, heartwarming, *_SAD_* games I have ever played, and they deserve _so_ much more love than they receive. Everything about the story, world, and music sucks me in and takes me to emotions that are.. _interesting._ Wilfre is an *amazing* tragic villain/anti-hero, and the ending of TNC legit broke my soul when I was 9. (Fuck it, still does). I adore these games. tl;dr: iss a good game
Da-da dum-da dum dum dum. That little riff is _everywhere._ Listen to the full OST of both games. A, it's worth it, B, you will here those seven simple notes a _lot._ So many tracks are built around the first thing you hear in the first game. And I absolutely love it. (Also, the sound quality is *amazing* for the DS.)
It's called a leitmotif. It's a very recognizable melody that's used in several tracks, usually symbolic in some way (Wilfre's theme has some leitmotifs too) Also 4 years late on this comment but ehh
I was pretty young when I first played this game, never really understood the ending. I decided to get the games again a month or so ago and oh boy I didn't see that ending coming. I may have cried... A lot.
This is much more than a simple song in a video game. This is, indeed, a masterpiece. It is such a shame it is so underrated. I love this song so dearly, and have listened to it for periods of time every year since I first played and beat Drawn to Life in 2008.
My god... What a song. Its been almost a decade if not more since i played this wonderful game. I'll miss the days of being a young kid simply playing my DS and getting lost all the time lmao, but being completely enamoured by this creativity, music, and story of the game. (literally how i learnt to read lmao) Even now, I still randomly hear the letimotifs or remember oment from this soundtrack/game completely randomly while am just living life, even without having never played the game in forever. Just goes to show how amazing this game was to stick for so damn long... God i miss drawn to life.
I remember the day I beat this game like it was yesterday. Having just defeated Wilfre and growing gradually more attached to the characters I helped save throughout the game, and honestly not expecting much more than the credits to roll with a montage of stills showing what happened afterwards. But then the song begins... I had never had that happen in a game before, and the emotional weight it carries on to me holds strong even to this day. Not a single song has ever made me feel the way this one does, and it's honestly such a shame that this game continues to go under the radar compared to other popular titles. I'm still salty about the ending of the sequel though.
Here's a story. I started playing this game when I was around 8. It was one of my very first video games. But, as a kid, I couldn't get past the first town level. However, a few years later, I was replaying the game and finally beat it. And then this music came up. I almost cried. And it is really hard for me. I have rarely seen something that made me feel such intense emotions.
I remember getting this game as a kid thinking it was a harmless drawing game. I ended up getting emotionally traumatised by the plot and the setting. This game is honestly so critically underrated.
Well, I'll start with: No, they don't "die" at the end. But I won't spoil it with the incredible ending it has. Long story short though, looking through the entire of The Next Chapters credits would be a good idea.
I had this dream about Drawn to Life where Jowee was trying to say the N-word for the entire game but everyone called him racist for trying to say it. During the "The End" credits sequence, he finally got a chance to say it, and the N-word turned out to be "nice".
I haven't heard this since I last played it so many years ago, but I remember how much I loved it back then, but I couldn't find the song on youtube or anywhere. Listening to this now made me cry. I'm so glad I found this, thank you!
I'm from Mexico, i played this when i was a children and i didn't know english, still i don't know i could not understand what they said, but was the best game than i played ever
No, if you listen to the lyrics, of course they're singing it. "And you're out at sea" plays at the same time you see Mari watching Jowee's boat sailing past. "What if I told you the stars, *He* drew them only for you." This implies that the creator drew them. I mean, this song has the potential to be relevant anywhere, however some of the lyrics are super specific for the game, and would sound out of place unless you knew where it came from.
Just beat this game today, honestly an amazing game, completely did not expect a lyrical song and I absolutely love it, can’t wait to play the next chapter. 9/10 annoying at times but I still absolutely adore this game.
I love how listening to all the songs in order is an amazing trip down memory lane. They did such a great job at making each song and associating it with a memory or an emotion. This game was amazing. I haven't seen anyone try to tell type the story told in this game. For a game that looks like no more than a cute child's game for the DS, its story is much heavier than many games targeted at audiences that would be able to comprehend what the story is.
Miguel! I Draw! **Hears The Word Story** **Sticks Head Out Of Trash Can** “You rang?” Seriously though, I agree with you 100%. There is so much story and symbolism in this small kids game, that I could be sitting here typing it for 2 hours straight. Heck, some of that symbolism and story I mentioned being shown by a comment I made a while ago. (Ima just copy and paste it here) “There is a LOT of foreshadowing that I’ve noticed after seeing the second game. The first being the Shadows. The shadows take two forms, _goop,_ and _clouds._ In the crash, two things were present: _Oil,_ and _smoke._ These things bear a striking resemblance to each-other. Both physically and psychologically. Think about it, Mike’s mind is being _overtaken,_ and _choked_ by _shadow goo_ and _shadow clouds._ Both resembling the Smoke and Oil that came from that life-changing moment. It is also fitting that Wilfre, the one trying to prolong the Raposa world by keeping Mike in his coma, is _made_ of these things. The second piece of foreshadowing being Mike and Heather. It just seems weird for Mike to even exist in the Raposa world. He just pops on the scene randomly, doesn’t know who he is, and is stuck in a world of Raposa, a world without humans. I don’t think they would do that purely for ‘comedic’ purposes. Although it’s a definite stretch, it does seem weird. And Heather has around the same argument. Why is she mute, and covered by Shadows? I believe she came to tell the Raposa of their existence, but was silenced by Wilfre. Which fittingly caused half of her face to be covered in shadow... Very akin to how she is shown realistically in ‘The Next Chapter.’ And this is the last piece. I stated this before, but the ER beeps following, “I’m already missing you” are definitely some kind of foreshadowing. The line, “I’m already missing you” talking about Heather wanting Mike to come back from his coma. This and the out of place beeps definitely seem to point towards the coma. (That’s most of the foreshadowing in the first game. Keep in mind, from this point on there are a few stretches.) And not only does that song have references, but “Light of my Life” can be taken similarly. As, and I know this is a stretch, it could be taken as Mike’s mother singing to him one last time. This is especially evidenced by the lyrics, “And I know you’ll wake up, with the sun on your face.” You know what happens when he wakes up? *HE SQUINTS AT THE SUNLIGHT HITTING HIS FACE.* I know it may seem somewhat like a stretch from this evidence, but this was what I thought to be some of the best points I thought I could make. Although, there are still some extras points. So, I’ll just quickly type them here. **Deep Breath** 1. Frostwind is the only BOSS in the game that isn’t taken over and made by the Shadows to fight you It doesn’t seem like he enjoys fighting you either, bearing a grimace the entire fight. So, what if Wilfre convinced him to fight by telling him about the truth of their world? 2. Why was the weird segment with Wilfre saying he has to, ‘complete it’ added? Could have just been foreshadowing the staff instead of the plot, but still something to note. 3. This is the biggest stretch and is mostly here cause I want a third point, but Wilfre killing Mary’s dad could be reminiscent of the oil-covered driver crashing into Heathers family and killing her parents, including her father. Drawn to Life is an amazing game. It has an amazingly mature story, a wonderful world and atmosphere, and a brilliantly subtle religious undertone, that it is one of my favorite games, no, _kids games,_ of all time.”
I remember playing this as a kid so fondly. Sadly I could never beat Wilfre and I ended up selling the game. Now, nearly ten years later, I rebought it and I beat it. Honestly, this sequence made me crop up, and I know for sure that if I saw it as a kid I would've cried my eyes out. Truly beautiful, I don't have any other words for it.
The boss that gave me the most trouble was Deadwood. Why? Cause the GOD. DAMN. BATS. Angler king wasn't too bad, just a little clutch. And Wilfre was definitely difficult.
Y'know, most of the series has a happy, cheery, story. But then whenever there's a SONG WITH VOCALS, YOU KNOW SHIT IS ABOUT TO GET DEEP. DAMNIT 5TH CELL. WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS. EDIT: WHAT THE FUCK, A NEW GAME IS HAPPENING
@@mackstax4440 They tamed it so much that it ruined it. I'll never play the Wii version. The realisation when you see the reality in the credits sequence is so hard-hitting and heartbreaking, and how do you get that from him falling out of a tree? I refuse to accept it as canon.
The reason they can’t make more games like this is because a couple of years ago 5th cell suffered huge layoffs, and although they never officially shut down, I doubt they will be making any more games.
This is to this day one of the best songs i know and yet it was hidden at the end of a ds game i played when i was 10 years old. Its like my own personal secret song
WOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH! NOW THAT'S A BLAST FROM THE PAST! I saw an artist I like made a song called "This Is Not The End" and just the title made me think of this magnificent song and this magnificent game!
5th cell might not be known for much... as far as i know that is... but what they are known for... will live on forever... drawn to life is a special series, no matter how old I get, i always cry from this song, i love it because i love these games, i dont even need the games love to love this song... they're so well made, so well told, a story that twists and turns, two games of a masterful sequence of events... and in the end... I feel like i can relate to some things in it... alot of things maybe... but above all... above anything... I simply love these games... because they're my childhood, they're something I grew up with... and I'll never let go of them...
"It begins to rain, You feel the change, I start to wonder if I'm ever gonna see you again Then he tells me this is not the end..." More appropriate words have never been said.
Mr. ROFL It is, although I wouldn't be surprised if they intended to include the altered ending in the original game, considering the questions at the beginning of the game include such answers as "We were near a forest." and "We were alone."
Me too, in a sense. It was the Two Realms leaks that motivated me to return to this game and finally beat it for the first time after so many years of owning it. And after this...hoo boy, I'm excited. Wonder if Two Realms will give us another tearjerker like this...
I like looking back and seeing how far I've come when I listen to this song.. It makes me feel strong, and happy for coming so far. There's so many times I've lost people, so many times I felt like I never could move on. And here I am. I'm strong. I might not be the greatest looking, I may be awkward, but I will continue showing all the love I can to those who love me. Everyone who I've lost have just made me stronger and taught me something new.
Kmack Attack Hope you know I don’t have the game anymore thanks you very much. Don’t be smart with this comment. Cause people might not have this game anymore. You just don’t say “Then do it.” I don’t know if you was being rude but it seem like a rude remark.
I legit just got both games again last week, oh the memories, if only it was more popular, and wasn’t a child’s game...nvm it’s perfect just the way it is, if it was more popular or a PG game it would probably be nothing compared to what it is now.
If there is anything I love more than the game, it's this song. For me, it was a celebration, because Drawn to Life is the first game that I beat all on my own.
my 10 year old self, never have loved listened to this and felt sad, my 21 year old self listening now, having loved and lost many times listening to this never realising just how much a children's game would make me cry
Man...this song actually made me tear up. I've had this game for so many years now...it's an old childhood favourite of mine, in fact. I loved it so much that I would play it almost non-stop, and when I got hold of The Next Chapter I played that non-stop and beat it. But I never beat this one...until today, that is. And now, hearing this song in-game for the first time...aaaaaagh! I can't, man. This is too damn sweet...
I ADORED this game when I was around 13-14 and I still love this song at 23. I remember being in a niche little community on Deviantart with a few DTL fans and it was comforting to have people to share the FEELS with. It is such a beautiful and clever game, I wish more people would give it a chance. The next chapter broke my heart when it turned out to be about an awful car crash. I remember being really mad at the creators for making the Raposa imaginary :'0
That awkward moment when you think you and your animal people friends are gonna save the world, but you inadvertently end up ending it, but your conflicted because it was technically the right thing to do because Mike deserved to wake up.
man, how long ago was this game released? I grew up with the first two, and only really started to appreciate the series recently. David J. Franco did such an amazing job on this song, by the way, I think it's the slight raspiness in his voice.
when I was like 8, I had a 256MB mp3 player and it had recording capabilities. I used it to record various video game songs including this one and it remains one of the greatest guilty pleasures I have ever had. I didn't care about the quality or anything. this song just hit so hard man
Drawn to life is a true experience for a game having this cute ass art style adorable characters and with a lighthearted atmosphere that quickly turns into a nightmare at the end of the next chapter with seeing that the ENTIRE thing was a coma dream because the family has gotten into a car crash and that the sister and brother were the only ones to survive is so dark. It just comes from outta nowhere to fucking slap you. to think that this comes from a game about making colorful and fun pixel art to traverse a world restoring color to it, it still gets me to this day. and The ending songs are so damn emotional its hard to not tear up from listening to them.
"It just comes from outta nowhere" Not really. The second game, and even the first game were building up to it. I mean listen to this song.. Every time she says something like "I miss you", a hospital heart monitor sound is heard.
My first language is not English, so when I ended the game when I was 8 I didn't understand a single word, but I cried 'cause the game ended. Last year I played the game again and I cried because I understood it completely, the lyrics are so sad
oh wait till you play the next chapter! be sure to find i the original ending to the next chapter too...you will cry buckets...im a grown ass man now and seeing the end of the second game made me feel empty inside
This game gave me an existential crises at 15 years old. Lmao. I'm 23 now but I want to replay this game so I can get to get my own true perspective on it
These ending songs in both games were SO welcome when all you were expecting was a cutesy creative game. And the darker tone the Next Chapter's song took... Still think about it today
KindredWings Also, listen to every song with the coma dream in mind. **LITERALLY EVERY SONG IN THESE GAME HAS A DOUBLE MEANING FOR MIKES COMA.** 0:25 THE BEEPS. T H E E R B E E P S .

did anyone else go into this game as like an innocent 10 yr old and then come out as an emotionally damaged person?
I never finished. But I went back in 9 years later. Already broken. And came as a sad pile of sadness.
Damaged? Idk. Touched? Deeply.
Meeeeee. I was so excited when the next chapter came out that I basically speed ran the thing. The ending.....
YES
I did, but I was 7. And it was like that for both games.
I wish this game was more popular
It is what we make it :) that's why we make art and continue it's story
They should've been released it on PC then. I didn't even know about DS platform until this game.

Who didn't, like I cried when she saw joey on the boat
I cried like a little b!tch. The second game also made me cry like a little b!tch.
Of course I did. I mean, why not?
2nd one for me
I cried so much, mainly because I could relate. Even listing to this song makes me cry.
I still can't believe this is from a game with such a cute art style. I seriously would have never expected such a big drama bomb from this.

Fun fact: Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life were created by the same developer.
My mom did the same thing lol a hidden blessing
I managed to play both Drawn to Life and Scribblenauts in my childhood. They were both good, but this game was a way better experience.
This song and the snowball minigame were the only 2 reasons i played this game over and over again
You know you could buy the minigame of the snowballs in Isaac's shop so you don't have to replay everything to repeat it, right?

Even 15 years later, I still cry😅
Oh you mean the one that literally no one talks about?
Lyrics:
You brought the rain and shine into my life
I know you got to leave, but I'm not surprised
What's the use?
Anyway, I lose and there's nothing I can do
Wanna know the truth? (Here, I do)
I'm already missing you
And is this really worth saving, If this can't work anymore?
And I can see you don't believe, so you'll pack up and leave
I can't change it
This is just the way it is
What if I revise his words deep into my soul?
What if I see her smile, would it make me crave her more?
What if I heard his voice and it gave me no other choice than to pray?
From day to day I wonder
I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Where these problems came from
I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Why I'm feeling so drawn
Just because it always was, and it will always be this way
It works because all my love makes for a shining, shining day
Against the rain, you feel the change
I start to wonder if I'm ever going to see you again
Then she tells me this is not the end
Drawn to the smile on your face
But these are my dreams and this is your lace
If that's what you want, it's not what I need
I'm high and dry, and you're at sea
So please (I'm listening)
You color ever breath I breathe 'cause if everything changes
Will this work anymore?
And I can see you don't believe as I'm ready to leave
We can't change this (No)
Can we save this?
What if I told you the stars, he drew them only for you?
What if I can't dream, 'cause I'm dreaming of you?
What have I got to lose if I never, ever reach the end of you?
I guess we'll find out soon
I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Where these problems came from
I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Why I'm feeling so drawn to a life with you
Just because it always was, and it will always be this way
It works because all my love makes for a shining, shining day
Against the rain, you feel the change
I start to wonder if I'm ever going to see you again
Then he tells me this is not the end
No other song has made me cry like this
You forgot the life support sounds
It's been 10 years since I've heard this song, I still cry. It's so well done.
Same i always remember this and listen to it and cry again its so good i miss this game

"Ba du dum da da du dum.."
That intro makes me nostalgianate so damn hard.
_interesting._
Wilfre is an *amazing* tragic villain/anti-hero, and the ending of TNC legit broke my soul when I was 9.
(Fuck it, still does).
I adore these games.
tl;dr:
iss a good game
3:30 that little off-note is just so nice and it adds to the authenticity of the music, making the game feel even more real. I love Drawn to Life!
I guess you can say this is real life...
🚪 😢
Man, this song is powerful... This is the only game where I actually cried at the end though. Good job 5th Cell, good job.
Da-da dum-da dum dum dum.
That little riff is _everywhere._
Listen to the full OST of both games. A, it's worth it, B, you will here those seven simple notes a _lot._ So many tracks are built around the first thing you hear in the first game.
And I absolutely love it.
(Also, the sound quality
is *amazing* for the DS.)
Yeah
After wilfred "dies"
And trapcard
It's called a leitmotif. It's a very recognizable melody that's used in several tracks, usually symbolic in some way (Wilfre's theme has some leitmotifs too)
Also 4 years late on this comment but ehh
@@tiddlez3948 I have since come to learn about leitmotifs. They're very neat
I was pretty young when I first played this game, never really understood the ending. I decided to get the games again a month or so ago and oh boy I didn't see that ending coming. I may have cried... A lot.
We all did );
Two years later: this still makes me cry lmao
This is much more than a simple song in a video game. This is, indeed, a masterpiece. It is such a shame it is so underrated. I love this song so dearly, and have listened to it for periods of time every year since I first played and beat Drawn to Life in 2008.
My god... What a song. Its been almost a decade if not more since i played this wonderful game. I'll miss the days of being a young kid simply playing my DS and getting lost all the time lmao, but being completely enamoured by this creativity, music, and story of the game. (literally how i learnt to read lmao)
Even now, I still randomly hear the letimotifs or remember oment from this soundtrack/game completely randomly while am just living life, even without having never played the game in forever.
To this day, it still makes me sad knowing how criminally underrated this soundtrack is.
Here's a story.
I started playing this game when I was around 8. It was one of my very first video games. But, as a kid, I couldn't get past the first town level.
However, a few years later, I was replaying the game and finally beat it.
And then this music came up.
I almost cried. And it is really hard for me. I have rarely seen something that made me feel such intense emotions.
this song makes me cry so much... the feels are so intense... "I'm already missing you"
I remember getting this game as a kid thinking it was a harmless drawing game. I ended up getting emotionally traumatised by the plot and the setting. This game is honestly so critically underrated.
God this song is amazing
I never saw this coming, so it was quite a tear jerker.
even more sad when you experience all this and see jowee + mari grow their relationship, only to have them die at the end
huh?
If you're trying to say something stop
Because A: I don't believe you
And B: I haven't played The Next Chapter
Check out next chapter ending music.
Its more sad
Well, I'll start with: No, they don't "die" at the end.
But I won't spoil it with the incredible ending it has. Long story short though, looking through the entire of The Next Chapters credits would be a good idea.
I just wish it wasn't compressed, 5th cell should release a hq copy
I had this dream about Drawn to Life where Jowee was trying to say the N-word for the entire game but everyone called him racist for trying to say it. During the "The End" credits sequence, he finally got a chance to say it, and the N-word turned out to be "nice".
I love that 😭 that’s hilarious
the life support beeps hit different
Oh shit, never thought about that
Wait the WHAT? where?
@@InfiniteThePhantomJackal I think 3:35
this song becomes even more fitting thinking about the new game leak
Wait what???!
Sitting and watching helplessly as Jowee left Mari alone on the docks, silently begging him to come back to her...
I’m still crying in 2023
I haven't heard this since I last played it so many years ago, but I remember how much I loved it back then, but I couldn't find the song on youtube or anywhere. Listening to this now made me cry. I'm so glad I found this, thank you!
I cried when I played this game. How do music and games do this to me. Crying again.

I can't be the only person who imagines Jowee and Mari singing this, right?
Pretty sure that's the point. No matter what though, it's an amazing song.
Andrew Jones Yeah, the purpose of the song is to be from the point of view of Mari and Jowee.
THAT'S HOW IT IS IN THE BLOODY GAME AT THE END, THAT'S THE REASON FOR THAT LITTLE ANIMATION AT THE END
Actually... 0:25
**ER BEEPS INTENSIFY**
Just beat this game today, honestly an amazing game, completely did not expect a lyrical song and I absolutely love it, can’t wait to play the next chapter. 9/10 annoying at times but I still absolutely adore this game.
everybody gangsta til the music track has vocals
This song never fails to make me tear up. Very well written and beautifully vocalized.
There will never be another series quite like this.
Miguel! I Draw! **Hears The Word Story**

“You rang?”
Seriously though, I agree with you 100%.
There is so much story and symbolism in this small kids game, that I could be sitting here typing it for 2 hours straight.
Heck, some of that symbolism and story I mentioned being shown by a comment I made a while ago. (Ima just copy and paste it here)
“There is a LOT of foreshadowing that I’ve noticed after seeing the second game.
The first being the Shadows.
The shadows take two forms, _goop,_ and _clouds._
In the crash, two things were present: _Oil,_ and _smoke._
These things bear a striking resemblance to each-other.
Very akin to how she is shown realistically in ‘The Next Chapter.’
And this is the last piece.
Keep in mind, from this point on there are a few stretches.)
And not only does that song have references, but “Light of my Life” can be taken similarly.
As, and I know this is a stretch, it could be taken as Mike’s mother singing to him one last time. This is especially evidenced by the lyrics, “And I know you’ll wake up, with the sun on your face.”
You know what happens when he wakes up? *HE SQUINTS AT THE SUNLIGHT HITTING HIS FACE.*
I know it may seem somewhat like a stretch from this evidence, but this was what I thought to be some of the best points I thought I could make. Although, there are still some extras points.
So, I’ll just quickly type them here.
**Deep Breath**
1. Frostwind is the only BOSS in the game

Shadows to fight you It doesn’t seem like
he enjoys fighting you

So, what if Wilfre convinced him to fight
by telling him about the truth of their world?
2. Why was the weird segment with Wilfre
saying he has to, ‘complete it’ added?
Could have just been foreshadowing the
staff instead of the plot, but still something
to note.
3. This is the biggest stretch and is mostly
here cause I want a third point, but Wilfre
killing Mary’s dad could be reminiscent
of the oil-covered driver crashing into
Heathers family and killing her parents,
including her father.
Zander Shepherd I'm the exact same, I got stuck on wilfre for ages😂
I got stuck on the shark boss until I replayed the game and realized how bad young me was at the game.
The boss that gave me the most trouble was Deadwood. Why? Cause the GOD. DAMN. BATS. Angler king wasn't too bad, just a little clutch. And Wilfre was definitely difficult.
@@remixalotl9581 Me too and I never knew about ground pounding for Frostwind 😅

I refuse to accept it as canon.
The reason they can’t make more games like this is because a couple of years ago 5th cell suffered huge layoffs, and although they never officially shut down, I doubt they will be making any more games.
Those beeping sounds are unnerving, considering the ending of the sequel.
Wow. This is kind of bring back memories from when I played the game, and from my regular life outside of it when I was playing it at the time

DRAWN TO LIFE SWITCH CONFIRMED
I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING
5th cell might not be known for much... as far as i know that is... but what they are known for... will live on forever... drawn to life is a special series, no matter how old I get, i always cry from this song, i love it because i love these games, i dont even need the games love to love this song... they're so well made, so well told, a story that twists and turns, two games of a masterful sequence of events... and in the end... I feel like i can relate to some things in it... alot of things maybe... but above all... above anything... I simply love these games... because they're my childhood, they're something I grew up with... and I'll never let go of them...
Drawn to life lured the players into a touching story that made each playet attached to leave them a different person. And that is a talent
That's a ton of nostalgia right there, ngl
"It begins to rain,
You feel the change,
I start to wonder if I'm ever gonna see you again
Then he tells me this is not the end..."
More appropriate words have never been said.
YES!!! I had a feeling this series is too amazing to end so soon!
Finally, the HQ version~ I'm glad I bought the collection to relive my childhood~
TheKiter27respawn Nah, the collection aint as good as the original two. They changed the ending to the second in the collection.
So what? Doesn't mean it's bad
+Mr. ROFL Actually, they changed the ending before the collection.
DylanDude120 - The Thrower of Shells Damn really? Anyhoo, original ending is better.
Mr. ROFL It is, although I wouldn't be surprised if they intended to include the altered ending in the original game, considering the questions at the beginning of the game include such answers as "We were near a forest." and "We were alone."
I still cry to this day. Drawn to life is a beautiful series that i am so glad that i grew up with

Everyone who I've lost have just made me stronger and taught me something new.

man, how long ago was this game released? I grew up with the first two, and only really started to appreciate the series recently. David J. Franco did such an amazing job on this song, by the way, I think it's the slight raspiness in his voice.
