Iron condor pop is more than strangle..and return is more than 20% with adjustment.
Finally selling his workshop.. you can get all best strategies on RUclips, just need to search..
But Jagan, in the hedged short strangle if the weekly are bought and monthly sold, bought premium will decay fast and monthly sold might be not having that much decay. Can you flash some more light on this logic.
Also for hedged short strangle do we need to consider otm -200 points for buying like Iron condor?
Can we do the calendar ratio spread for this hedged short strangle?
Monthly sell 2 lots of OTM ce and pe each i.e short strangle (4 lots short)
And then buy 2 lots of weekly -200 far otm strike just like iron condor.
By ratio spread collected premium will be more than the premium paid for buying.
difficult to do adjustments, keep it simple.

@@avadhutkoparde short straddle is excellent for long positional contracts. for intraday go for risk free ratio spreads.

But in short strangle, when you try to sell CE and PE which is 500 points above and below current price, the premium would be very less. It would be less than 8 rupees. How come you will get huge return?
@@maheshkumarmayya I am talking about the short strangle he has mentioned in the video. 40-50% return he said. How is it possible when the premium would be around 5 rupees for the strike price 500 points away from the current price?
If you go and check in pay off graph, you will see that you will invest around 1.2 lakhs and get 545 rupees on expiry on the short strangle as he mentioned in the video.

@@maheshkumarmayya you are right upto some extent but there are genuine traders who wants others to learn, so they try to teach others genuinely. There are some traders who don't give tips only learning. But not like this guy who got caught up by a beginner like me.

Some broker like zerodha not allowing far OTM buying for first OI issue. You have to sell first than after is possible to buy far OTM. You have to first needs full money to sell after hedging margin will come down. I am facing this issue in zerodha. So please someone recommend me if some broker allowing first you can buy far OTM strike no OI restrictions.

When you are placing order, use MIS order type for all orders. Later on you can convert these orders to NRML if you want to carry forward to next day. This will work for all brokers.

Using MIS order will solve the issue. I had the same issue earlier. But remember, these positions can't be converted to NRML for carry forward.
