you two are so laid back, Thats why I like your video's so much! Rules for working on cars 1, things can never just go right and 2 things can never be easy, LOL I was welding a small rust whole on the underside of my dash, on my 1958 Chevy. After grinding the rust hole, making a filler patch and mig wilding the patch, then grinding again it looked great, Thee I saw the passenger side windown and the whole window had tons of pock makers in the glass, ..I never thought about putting the window down..LOL, yup things happen when working in cars.
Great stuff !!! Thank you both for sharing your journey !!! I really enjoy the fabrication !!! You take pride in your work!! You don't see a lot of that now a days !! You all please be careful and God bless!!!!!! Eddy
I like how you use the tools that you have and get awesome results. The tools don't make the man. The man uses the tools that he has to do the best job that he can.
Another good video. 👍🏻 Watch out for those cameras though ! I always love it when we get heat advisories in Texas . Really ?! It’s August, y’all !! 103 today. Hopefully it will cool down by October! At least in Florida you get the rain. We get the heat and humidity without much rain. Keep up the good work!
It's mainly to access the fuel tank so you can fill it. Being able to access the complete airride system is just a bonus. It is a very reliable system. But if you do have a problem and the truck is laid on the ground with no access to any of the airride components it makes it extremely difficult to get it fixed, and I have ran into that in the past. I had to fix an airride system on a truck in the middle of the street in Daytona that laid down, not fun. But reliable or not you'll eventually have a component in the system that will fail. So when building something I try to keep that in mind and make things as user friendly as I can. How many times have you worked on a car and cursed the engineers who designed it? Lol
one thing i have never understood 1st of all i hate wheel spacers have seen a lot of problems with them getting loose. i personally have never installed a wheel spacer so i don't know why some get loose unless not installed correctly. the part i don't understand most street rods have high priced special ordered wheels why not order with the correct offset and not run wheel spacer. i have done a few trucks and cars mostly narrow rear ends i always order the correct offset but i see most street rods have spacers
The two wheel drive S10 rear end is actually too narrow for the truck is why this one has spacers, and we wanted the same offset in all the wheels to be able to rotate tires. I'm not a huge fan of spacers either. The main problem is people not torquing them. You need the correct torque spec, torque the spacers and wheels, put about a hundred miles on the vehicle, remove the wheels, check torque on the spacers then reinstall wheels and torque the wheels again. The 4 wheel drive s10 rear end is what should have gone under this truck, it's the correct width. I took this build over from another shop who had basically done everything wrong. Lol
i think long hair looks good on some people and some professions but i have found in automotive work you spend more time worrying with hair getting in the way i just keep short i go for comfort and ease rather than the look. but please don't take the wrong way its your business how your hair is . i really enjoy the channel
I don't worry much about it, I usually just put it up while I'm working. I've had long hair all my life and have always worked in an industrial environment, never had an issue. Just gotta be smart about it and not get it caught in anything. Lol Plus I'm pretty sure if I cut it off Jackie would not be a happy human. 🤣
Awsome vid as always guys . We think it's hot here in the UK when it goas above 30 , your heat must be horrible. Love the steel wheels on the truck , I'm not a fan of alloys , steel all the way . Stay safe guys 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Another great video 👍👍
Thank you!!
Truck is coming along great! Closer to the BUS!! Loved your outfit Jakie😍
Thank you!

Lol, I always look out for glass and paint. Totally forgot about the camera. 🤣

Thank you! I appreciate that, and thanks for watching!
Well i didn’t find it boring it was informative now i know how to install my ride sensors
Awesome! I'm glad it helped
Nice Waterboy reference. Great progress on the truck out.
Thank you!
Thanks for another Guys 👍
Thank you for continuing to watch our ridiculous shenanigans. 🤣

The rain just makes the humidity worse. Lol
looking good
Thank you!
So you're supposed to install the sensor with the suspension in the max compressed position? Their instructions are not concise.
You install it in the range I talked about in the video. From max compression to max lift.
What is the model no. of that Monroe shock?
I'll have to check, I honestly can't remember what I used. 83 C10 shocks are very close to the same length and travel as what I used.
why does everyone say they make a rear lid that opens to work on the compressor and the air system. Isn't this a reliable system?
