    I am bookmarking this! Your video is the ONLY video I have seen which translates Soft Dramatic style for the real modern world where many of us are not exactly going to show up full diva to pickup the kids from school or go to the grocery store. And with the exception of a few places of work, soft dramatic diva style just does not jive with a modern work environment. THANK YOU! :)

    I'm obsessed with this series. Waiting patiently for the Classics. Like honestly what does a casual Priestess Soft Classic even?

      Tell me what casual means in your context and I will give you an outfit idea!

      @StyleThoughtsbyRita ooHoooOO! I mean just a run to the grocery store/errands kind of casual. I feel like my "lunch date with friends" wardrobe is tip top but when I just need to dart out for milk and to the post office I am perpetually annoyed that I don't have an "easy" outfit

    • @StyleThoughtsbyRita

      I feel you on this 100%. I need an outfit just to go to the grocery store or take a short walk outside and even though we have different body structures I think the same outfit formula can work.
      What I do is to take a simple outfit in a matching color, e.g. a pair of white jeans and a white sweater or you could do whatever "fun neutral" you like. Should feel unfussy and "casual". But then you bring in the "extra" through the additional details.
      I have a pair of comfortable but "extra" shoes. For example I have these white combat boots which have 3d flowers and butterflies on them. They are flat, comfortable but have that "extra detail." You could also get boots or oxfords/loafers with some detail or even a "fancy" sneaker that has something a bit extra.
      The final "fun" part comes from a statement jacket. I usually wear my lilac teddy jacket. You can adapt to your climate but basically get a really simple shape jacket in a fun texture and a different color than your "base."
      You can then add a tote/shopper bag and sunglasses/hat (depending on climate) and the outfit is complete!@@Pleurigloss

      @StyleThoughtsbyRita oooh! I love this idea! And I DO need to step up my "extra" shoes game so now I have an excuse to shop 😉

    Love this - really helpful as I have an "up" essence but have a very mundane daily life in which I need to be practical.

    The video I needed. Glamour is just not my thing like I'm a pop-punk girlie but now have to dress more professionally. Will be experimenting with asymmetrical tops and patterns!

    This is such a fab series Rita! Where Kibbe feels limited your style key feels expansive and alive like me! Growing and evolving as I do with life 🤩
    Also the highlighted words, transitions and visual prompts work phenom for my neurodivergent brain 🧠, so thanks

    This is so helpful, Rita! I'm curve dominant but haven't been able to decide between SD and SC. SD lines suit me more whereas my vibe/essence is more SC (Moonstone/Gentle Grace). Your system enables me to navigate both! Thank you 💖

    Thank you Rita. I like this topic for future videos. I am a romantic and really have more of a natural-romantic-ethereal essence. I have a hard time finding free flowing fabrics and more earthy colors in a shape for romantic. Everything that is more earthy and flowing and natural seems to be made for long lean more angular body frames. Products that are shaped in more of an hourglass or curved shape tend to be more sexy-glam, and quite bold and dramatic, or made of very structured fabrics with no movement.

      have you seen the brand xcvi? They have earthy styles but it's cut for a closer fit rather than for lean/angular shapes

      Ooooh I so relate! I'm a theatrical romantic with a romantic ingenue (+ some yang maybe gamine?) Blend and everything looks too sexy for my face but if I play up the dollish of my looks I look like I'm trying to sxualize a child 😅😅😅 trying to find the balance and honor my left-down (gothic aesthetic) is so challenging

    • @RevealTheStyle
      @RevealTheStyle 11 месяцев назад

      @@Mikora94I'm a theatrical romantic Lady Heretic (+enigma), and once I got GG from Rita and advice on the kibbe Id from another favorite style person, it all became so easy! 😊
      I love glamorous, mysterious & intimidating styles, and the style key and the body id together give perfect guidance for that ❤
      What is your favorite archetype of Ruby key? Maybe it can help you get suggestions

    • @Mikora94
      @Mikora94 11 месяцев назад

      @@RevealTheStyle sorry just now seeing this! I most resonate with the enigma of amythest but my overall "logic" follows the ruby more closely, particularly on a day to day (I work from home). Although I wouldn't call myself particularly modest I prefer to wear a sheer layer for basically anything exposed (won't wear a skirt without stockings, or a low cut top without a lace top under etc). I'm starting to get a bit of the hang of it, creating almost gamine lines with my layers but the overall silhouettes, fabric, colors, honoring the TR. And the smaller details honoring my ingenue, the patterns are smaller, my neutral "whites" are more of a rosy pink etc. Honestly looks like a goth version of the coquette aesthetic but it's working I think. Atleast I don't look too far in either direction anymore. But hey maybe I should be happy to still look childlike when I'm almost 30 😅😅

      @@Mikora94 I LOVE a lace top that shows through the other top! I can also wear it underneath the slightly unbuttoned cardigan.
      I love how Helena Bohnam Carter dresses, even though she's a Romantic. I'm attempting to recreate some of her look ideas in a bit more tame and sleek way, not to drown that little bit of Yang in the appearance. I think that can work. It's also extremely easy to get inspired by brands like Alexander McQueen, Simone Rocha. I'd also say Vivienne Westwood, but her styles are too unique to be easily found for a lower price

    Definitely Moonstone but on the Dramatic side. I love BRIGHT colors, but love to maintain a smart casual look at all times. My next extreme are tropical motifs, bright color dresses and HEELS! Definitely along the Soft Dramatic ends but not Hollywood Glamour. Eg. Sofia Vergara style.

    Can you recommend haircut or hairstyle for soft dramatic as well? Something manageable for everyday hair. Everything i have seen online are full volume tease hair or glamorous curl hair.

    Rita could you do something with spring looks for SDs... especially short spring/fall jackets? Everyone recommends like... belted floor length fur lapeled type coats for SDs and leaves it at that. It's like.. I am a normal person and not rita hayworth or whatever, I need something I can wear to doing normal person things.

    I don't think I'm a soft dramatic since I have wide shoulders and rounded jaw. I'm above average when it comes to height, but I'm not very tall. But the Sapphire key clothes are most of the clothes that look better on me and they actually make me feel good, like I actually look good.

      Left down romantic immediately makes me think of Chloe Sullivan's character in Smallvile! She has a signature formula of a body-hugging top with deep cleavages or open shoulders, jeans slim on the hips and wide below the knee, and aways, ALWAYS some dainty earrings and a statement necklace

    • @alinam8854
      @alinam8854 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@RevealTheStyle oh, thanks for mentioning, that's such a throwback! Thing is although I have an R body, I'm more of a modern day trousers with hightop converse type of girl, which is why something that aligns with more stereotypical Kibbe looks never really feels satisfying to me. I feel a bit caricature.
      The closest inspo I've found is the street style of Selena Gomez TR and Isla Fisher R, and I'd be super curious to see what Rita could suggest :)

      @@alinam8854 true! Selena even breaks the "laws" of dressing for TR so often, yet she looks so good. That goes to show that the most important thing is to dress for your comfort and vision 😻

    Dear Rita, I would like to ask for you excuses, but I noticed that you are facing a problem that I had, which is hair loss. I don’t know what have you been going through, but My hair loss came after some medications for trombosis and also due to hipotireoidism. I started treating my tireoide and stopped taking the medication for trombosis. After it, I was with very few hair in my head. So I started to use rosemary essential oil directly in my scalp. I put in my fingers and I rub in my scalp every night, before bed. It will not leave you hair greasy, and you’ll see, in a month or two the results. Baby hair will come out! It is really effective! Hope it helps! Best regards.
