    I agree SDs look fabulous with medium to long hair worn up or down; I think especially with updos and whatnot a soft glamorous look is all that's needed. Great video!

    I'm a soft dramatic who wishes I had a higher apex 😂 I need to create volume on me. Also my hair is so resistant to being styled which is such a shame, cause the tidy curls look great on me.

    I'm a very tall Soft Dramatic and my hair is pin straight. I also have more of an edgy style, so usually it's colored brightly. I feel like I'm doing everything wrong 😂

    I think Rachel Weisz is a Bright Winter. The Dark Winter colors look a little heavy on her. You can see a slight yellow in her skin but not enough to make her a Spring season. Many Asian women have yellow in their skin which people often mistake for Bright Spring but they are a neutral cool season and look better in Bright Winter colors.

      Oh yes, I am bright winter with snow white colours combo but i do have a bit of yellow in my skin. And sometimes I was thinking maybe I was bright spring cos orange was not that bad on me.

    I have always been confused about my colors because I feel like they change so much depending on if I have a tan or not. I used to feel that i was a winter in winter and a autumn in summer. I have now realised that I'm probably a soft summer even though my hair is a dark brown. I can get away with some autumn colors if I have a tan and they are muted and some winter colors when Im pale if they are more muted. I am now trying to transition my wardrobe to include more soft summer. For rachel she might also be on the cusp of seasons and the dark hair is confusing things a little bit.

    Thank you, Aly! Great video as always. ♥️ I struggle with the well-kept part of this. I’m a soft dramatic, thick hair with some wave that naturally does great with more of a wash and wear style. I don’t have time or energy to devote to blow drying or curling. Any ideas how to move towards a more sophisticated style without spending lots of time?

    • @littleowletart
      @littleowletart 9 месяцев назад +4

      Fellow SD here! I have struggled with my hair also because it's very straight, and I highly recommend trying heatless curls! I use the set from Eternal Muse and wrap the pieces crossed over each other so they stay better than normal robe curls. It's super easy to set each night so you can wake up with more "done" looking structured, soft curls!

      Hi! I'm a soft dramatic with naturally wavy hair. Look into the Curly Girl method for some styling tips! I usually wash and wear, and look quite polished while doing so. For me, the trick is mostly to use a sulfate-free shampoo, a silicone-free conditioner and to use a lot of (alcohol-free) hair gel when my hair is sopping wet and scrunch it in, letting the hair dry without touching it after that. Again, more details on that if you read up on the Curly Girl method!

    SD with mostly silver hair, but I'm not that old. I struggle with wanting bolder, richer color but within 2 week, the silver roots wreck the look. My skin is fair and pretty pink so there's not much contrast between the silver and my hair and going natural ages me dramatically.

    • @nikoglaz
      @nikoglaz 10 месяцев назад +1

      What about adding some bold low-lights? The silver will just continue to grow and maybe the low lights can be done to be "lived-in" so it's less maintenance.

    I grew up when spider man and Bring it On. I would always get you to look like Kirsten Dunst. More recently it's been Jennifer Lawrence(maybe), Taylor Swift(i don't think so), and Harley Quinn(Margot Robbie). I think that was more my outfit and hair. However, I have a light olive skin tone and can get medium/olive in the summer. I keep going back to soft dramatic, Soft/Flamboyant natural, or maybe soft classics. I'm 5'8 and fleshy, long/leggy, not too leggy my torso is normal. I appear taller usually 5'10. I did/do get called Barbie or 90's super modelish. I'm 34 150 lbs-160 lbs. In high school 127 lbs-135 lbs. I'd often get accused of having Ed by teachers at 127-135. I didn't/don't have one. I look good i think with some extra flesh mostly my hips/legs. I would prefer 140 lbs- 145 lbs ideal(for me.

    Hello Aly, I am about 6ft tall and on the more curvy/fleshy side with big round/almond shaped eyes and moderate lips with a very defined cupidsbow. Also my nose seems quite moderate and has a rounded tip from the front, but on my side profile you can see it is somewhat larger and has a high bridge. I believe I am SD but I seem to look very good in a layered slightly wolfcut-like kind of hairstyle. I have very thic and full wavy hair so it is more voluminous and not so shaggy. Now I read online that the wolfcut is not for SD's, do you agree? And what would my type be if so?
