Great video. I had read about the milk and egg breakfast. I cant imagine it would taste very nice. You can get sick from eggs if they aren't heated properly, but as they are now pasteurised, and if fresh it's very unlikely you will. But your face - it must have tasted vile. I asked my mum and she said it was a pretty typical thing to do in those days. In fact, she used to blend an egg in my baby sister's milk bottle, which a lot of the mums did and that was the 70s. The food in the 50s would have been very simple and I guess that's why they didn't have a lot of obesity in general until fast and convenience food was invented. I remember as a kid, mum would often make lamb chops, but with cooked carrots and peas from a tin!! I still kinda like that. It interesting to note, that contrary to published information, Marilyn Monroe wasn't a size 14 - that was an American sizing back in those days, and her measurements indicate she was a UK size 8 to 10. Which at 5"6 is kinda tiny. Well done for giving that milk one sip though. (gives me the tummy churn just thinking about it).
Answer to lottiesummers-as the posts will not post in right place of the thread: 1.st No, I´m not self righteous. I have very many faults, very many dark sides, so I am certainly no righteous person. Actually no human on earth is righteous in her/ him self/ in their own power. I only want to be a defendwer of them who can not speak for themselfes.among them animals. 2:d: the word vegan onlu means "person who doesn+t consume animal products", nothing more A person defined as vegan has not any given set of opinions or thoughts. 3:d I didn´t say a person consuming animal products can not care about ANY animnals. Many of them care about their pets, horses etc. However I don´t think they love ALL animals, not the animals whos deaths they actually demand. 4:th: I am not so naive that I think a fully plant based world (when it comse to humans) can come over night, not either over a week or a year or even a generation, If it comes it´s a gradual process, but I am for walking in that direction. 5:th A plant based diet doesn´t have to be expensive. Plant based diets are very very different.

Answer to Whaddayamean13: As there is a problem of RUclips so that answers to other peoples comments wont post in the right part of the hread I write in the main thread. No , it´s not so bad with plantbased food as you might think. I´m 60 and I stopped eating meat/fish roughly 25 years ago. At a checkup in december I was told I had levels of blood fats/blood pressure/blood sugar and Hb like a 20 year old. I simply don´t think I need the animal products I consumed before. So then why demand the rasing and killing of oher living sentient beings? Is it then so bad to have chosen no longer to be a part of the demand for rasing and killing animals/ for fishing etc - that I once was? Is it then so bad to have some heart for animals and feel some relief for not bing a part of that system any more? And from the animals perspective. Let´s make a comparrison. I cold ask you: If another spieces held you as prisoner, but "raised you humanely": Would yo see that as acceptable, saying "as long as I´m raised humanely it´s ok that they are going to kill me and comsume me"? Honestly I doubt it. For my part I don´t plan to go back to what I did/consumed the previous millennium, before the year 2000.
Eggs/milk/lamb/ icecream (based on milk I guess), steak . Norma does not appear to have been a friend of animals according to my perspective. But I guess animal rights-thinking was at large not known in her time. I think a vegan life style can be more mercyful. For my part I´m ciritical towards all killing of sentient beings, both animals and humans (both born and unborn) and animal rights activist (and not on the left side of the political spectrum 🙂)..
Eating animals who are treated well and grass fed and finished, connected to the land, and humanely raised is NOT anti-animal. If you’ve spent any significant time on a farm you’ll understand that. The vegan nonsense is so disconnected from reality
@@Whaddayamean13 Not at all. I stopped eating meat & fish around 25 years ago and I´m still alive- At a physical checkup in december I got the comment that I had levels like a 20 year old in blood pressure, blood fats, blood sugar and Hb. I don´t think I need the animal products I ate before. Also I can ask you the following: If another species held you as prisoner and was "rasing yoy humanely"-would you accept that as the ideal? If I can live without contributing to the demand of raising and killing animals and fishing-what´s wrong with that? What´s wrong with not wanting to be part of a demand for killing that I was once part of, and feeling relief of not being so any more?
@@Baedovey if you want to spare plants a plant based diet is actually sparing more plants than many diets with animals/ animal products, for example because it takes a lot of plants to breed animals, and have 2 or more steps ina food chain instead of one.
i think what helps celebrities stick to the crazy diet is the drugs lol
this diet is from before marilyn was addicted to drugs btw

Love eating at Marilyn Monroe's favorite restraurants in Hollywood and NYC. Nothing prettier than Marilyn's makeup style.

so obviously plants are a live thing too just because you don't see them breathing doesnt mean it is dead already

not to mention there are plenty of plants that eat animals as well so wtf you gonna eat
