I’M LOVING THIS VIDEO, PLEASE CONTINUE SHARING WITH US YOUR WONDERFUL, RESTAURANT FOOD EXPERIENCES. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT TO YOU GUYS. I’M ALSO CONSIDERING, MOVING TO KENYA 🇰🇪 IN THE FUTURE.
Bungo juice is very healthy by the way. It's packed with minerals like calcium vitamin C and A potassium and iron. The fruit is seasonal and mostly grows at the coast. You may also ask them to consider tamarind juice garnished with cloves. Refreshing.
@@raymondomollo6748 that’s good to know. I battle low iron so it could be helpful. I tasted so salty I was concerned about what ingredient gave it that flavor.
I’m from America too but from the south we are all so different I can tell the are from the east coast love that accent and was they playing Micheal Jackson in the restaurant at the end of the video 😂
I am from NYC, but moved here from SC. It could have very well have been MJ playing in the video. Kenyans love American music and culture which is what makes it easy to live here.
We can see Diamond Plaza from our apartment and a friend advised us to check it out. Thank you for the recommendation. Let us know what we should order there.
@@BeyondTravelCheckIns You can go for a mixed grill(mixed platter ) with the chips options or order them separately i.e -chicken Tikka, chicken kebab/ roll, beef mushkak roll, lamb chor or mutton if it's your thing. Then with masala chips mild /poussin chips/plain chips if you don't like spices. With cheese or paneer chapati and or naan. They'll serve with spicy chutney /sauces and dry veg. salad. Juices fruit of your choice. You could also later sample sugarcane juice within the mall if you take sugar.
All I wanna hear is the review of ugali and fish. Westlands is a great choice for restaurants, there are tonnes of them from budget friendly to the most exclusive.
@@hk254lyt8 Lol fast foods are everywhere. The only one missing is McDonalds. KFC, Burger King, Subway, Dominos, Pizza Hut are all here. You just threw that in there for the sake of it.
@ I know. I studied in the UK and I used to eat McDonalds. I got addicted to their fries. I can assure there is nothing in Kenya that comes close to the quality of McDonalds fries
@hk254lyt8 I lived and studied in Australia and apart from the sausage and egg McMuffin in the morning after clubbing on weekends, nothing stood out for me at McD's. Maybe you got addicted to the GMO potatoes because you can't compare local food tastes with those in the West whether it is fruits, chicken, beef, sausages, beans etc. Only confectionaries is where the West does best because they have a wide variety and are cheaper.

We truly are having a great time here!
And to think Western media makes Kenya out to be a less than desirable destination. All lies!! ☺️
Saidah is a nice name, it sounds like a swahili name.
My parents chose Arabic names for myself and my siblings. It means happy and fortunate.
Your complexion looks great and relaxed
Thank you!! Kenya food and weather has been good for my skin.

I love that restaurant especially their kebabs, masala chips, garlic nan and tandoori chicken.

It was so good! I love that kind of meal. I love Ugali, skuma wiki and kachumbari. 🤣😂😊
@@BeyondTravelCheckIns Glad to know you enjoyed. It's *kachumbari. Delve more into local foods and acquire the tastes 😊😁.
I sure will. Thanks! 😊
I'm new to your channel. Do you guys have jobs already here in the country? Because sustaining such a lifestyle can be quite expensive.
Welcome 🤗 We are self employed.
I wish McDonalds would open in Kenya
Really? 😳 In the states they are known for using “pink slime” and insanely unhealthy chemicals in their food.
@ I just feel like we don’t have a lot of diverse options when it comes to fast foods
