Living in 3rd person using a DJI Avata FPV drone to see the world around me and try some activities. We all know what it's like to play a video game where you are controlling the character in third person. I wanted to see what it would be like to do this in real life using a drone! It feels like a real life GTA video game simulator. I tried to survive as long as I could with this setup, but it was incredibly difficult! This video was inspired and adapted from videos like Ryan Trahan's and Liam Thompson's.

This would be much easier if the drone had an automatic tracking function (track and follow you at a set distance like 3rd person camera in a game)

I am interested to see if in your “away from physical body” 3rd person view experiments you had any visceral sense of where your ego self resided? In terms of our typical self-awareness we typically regard our “seat” of consciousness, our ego-self somewhere behind our eyes and centered in our forehead. Did that shift for you at all, like you were dissociated from your body, or did you feel somehow like a split personality?

I also tried this thing with my dji fpv few months ago
ended up with bleeding knees and broken goggle
