Hello! I have a question. Do you happen to know of an addon/ way to hide the chat bubble background when you talk on general? I basically want to keep the text appearing above a character, but without the actual chat bubble. Thank you!

Addon Sorted isn't for me I don't like the list view at all. After AdiBags(was my fav) has effectively been discontinued the successor BetterBags is ok, but not as great as Baganator is right now.
I wouldn't say these will have any direct effect on gameplay at all, definitely handy to have if your into all that stuff but hardly necessary for gameplay.
@darkcursse2709 Not really. If you are only talking about combat, sure. But the utility those bring make much more impact on the game overall than any dps meter and dbm can make.

when players create far better stuff than blizzard do, then they are needed. I mean can you compare blizzards shite UI to something like ELVUI? And their dated quests dialog boxes to something like immersion? You keep playing with the shite, i want something more visually appealing which Blizzard cant or wont produce!
To each their own - perhaps a couple ones won't hurt, especially if it's for hunting rares or hidden stuff for example. But yeah, some things look good just as they are though others can be improved upon which is what addons generally bring to the table. Not needed, yes, but if the option is there why not :) Cheers!
Imagine wanting to customise your game experience. Imagine needing information in a clearer way. Imagine having difficulties with aspects of an activity or activities, and wanting to access as much as possible in a game you enjoy. Imagine having fun with a game. Add-ons can and do address all of these, often where the developer can't or won't. Imagine different people needing and/or wanting different things. Imagine commenting on a video about a game which prominently has you accept not to make fun of others' ability, just to make fun of others' ability.
Id also be interested in a list of addons which are no longer necessary because the game has added them as features.
Instead of Sorted I would recommend Betterbags (from developer of Adibags) or Baganator.

@Gaiel44 Btwquest. It's the first time l see this addon being recommended. Generally, people only recommend all the same combat addons.
