It is obvious... go to the end of the room and jump through the wall Yellow Gem - Reach to the end and find another jet cruiser, jump on it and reach the end of the level Purple Gem - Jump on those Nitro crates that look like stairs, those are just metal crates
@@MrFrijj85 yes, from when you get on the first board a timer starts if you die the timer goes away, so don't hit any other checkpoints after you get on the first board to be on the safest side to restart.
Correction for red gem: use the boxes near the jet cruiser to get on the platform for the secret warp room then go to snow go and suffer getting it for hours (lol this was probably everyone’s experience not just mine)
the red snow go gem from the original crash bandicoot 2 was obtained in a somewhat different way since in the snow go level on the first floor in the part where the gem is seen at the top of the ceiling behind there is a path with enough distance to make a race with slide and then jump on the seal and when you get to the top you do the iron and almost get it
When I was a kid I realized the nitro crates didn’t jump like the other ones and decided to jump on them. I screamed with my sister when I got warped. Good times
I was trying too, like 50 times, when I was with just one life I finally did it but when I got into the 2nd part of snow go I lose immediately, shit! So do I have to do again that professional jump in air crash to get into the S.G 2 world again? Because it was game over of course... damn!!
I always found it funny how quick they give you the purple gem in its secret section, whereas for the red and green gem it's right at the end. You could cheat the purple gem section by just dying to go back to the original level and finish normally. It's a shame really because it's a well thought out section which deserved to have the gem be at the end

There is a timer in the right lower corner that starts when jou jump on the 1st board, reach the end within the time limit and you will see the yellow gem there
Thank god you don’t have to finish those secret paths after getting the gem cuz I’m convinced those nitro boxes after the purple gem are 100% impossible to avoid. God Naughty Dog fcking sucks at level design.

One of my favorite rounds is eel deal bc they hid the gem so good and its one of the easiest in my opinion to get.

if you hold down the x button while y9ou jump you can jump higher which helps you jump further.
