Hello thank you for your videos. As a teacher, I can’t travel off season so unfortunately, companies know high peak seasons and we are a family of five so I feel it’s always going to be pricier, even when booking a year a head. Also my husband prefers that we travel using refundable tickets so it makes it even more pricey. Can you create a video for international travel with tips that are refundable?
That’s tough, but I will add it to my video to do list! One thing you could do is look at destinations where your summer is actually off season. (For example, in the southern hemisphere where it is getting chillier at that time)
The only thing holding me back is My kids. I’m a single mom. Im debt free and making 6 figures. I bought 5 properties already in my home country in Bohol Philippines. Im just giving myself 8 years to retire. I will do van life first and drive across the country. It’s good to do it with someone who has a same mindset as me otherwise I’d rather be alone.
We have two small dogs. Currently we are trying to get them acclimated to carriers for the plane. I know this is going to affect the price for traveling though. I doubt we can stay in hostels?
I’m sure there are some god-friendly hostels that exist, but I think it would be tough to find them. I have a feeling you’d have to stick to let-friendly gust houses or Airbnbs. But maybe there is a blog or YT channel out there specifically about traveling with pets - they probably have better advice than me!
Well since you asked and I have a lot of questions and concerns... What's stopping me from joining van life (technically hotel prius life) is money, safety, and the environment. I have a dog and don't want to leave her in the car alone like ever. I'm thinking about staying with family for a few months at a time to work/save up/avoid northern winters. I don't have a smart phone- I have a garmin, laptop, and a lightphone/hotspot+booster. That should be enough to be able to work if I have to right? I have a small video channel but I'm not sure I want to juggle so many things at once. I want to live in my car because a) i can't afford rent b) i want to choose when to be alone and when I want to be around people, and c) to help me grow up and figure out what my life worth living is. Is there a way to make money by turning in litter? How many wild animals have you had to worry about? Can I like weed peoples yards and how do you ask to do things like that? Anyway thank you for making these videos, subbed!
Wow that's a lot of questions haha! :-) No worries, I've been there. Sometimes just writing out your thoughts like that can be helpful. If you don't want to ever leave the dog alone in your car, I think it's going to be really hard. There are lots of people who do van life with dogs. But I imagine they have to leave them inside from time to time. If you have a hotspot, that should be plenty to get work done if you can tether to your laptop. That said, you have to choose your camp spots carefully. If you get too far out in the middle of nowhere, you won't have signal even with a booster. I'd definitely start by choosing one job that is the best earner. It's easy to spread yourself too thin when traveling/living in a vehicle because living in a vehicle takes a lot of extra work (finding food, gas, bathrooms, etc.) Speaking of which, before diving in headfirst, it might be a good idea to do a trial run for a week to see how things go. I've never heard of the litter idea before, but you certainly could make money doing yardwark if you wanted to. If you did that, I'm assuming you'd be sticking to one area (vs. traveling around) in order to find some regular clients. And as far as wild animals go, we've had zero problems so far. We do carry bear spray when we hike in bear country though! I hope this helps!!
@@ProjectUntethered what your doing sounds fun, but I hope that you're saving $400.00 a month to invest in the stock market index funds so you can have financial freedom someday. Unfortunately I didn't make the rules, but there will be a time when the body is too old to work, so (FIRE) Financial independence retire early will give you comfort. Poor, lower class and middle class income people can invest in the stock market and be wealthy, just have to invest right by learning. Van life is cool, but investing and being truly free is even better.

How do you travel credit card hack if you have less than a 700 score? I've been turned down by american airline Citi card and same with Barclay's card. Advice?
I think you’d have to start with a couple cards with lower requirements to gradually build up your score by consistently monthly payments. Usually when you apply, it says the range of credit scores that qualify. The easier-to-get cards don’t have the best bonuses, but they are a start!
You two are so cute together. I think it’s pretty cool what you’re doing!!
Thank you so much!! Hope we can visit again soon!
Hi Mitch and Day! Another awesome, informative, fun video! Have fun and stay safe!
Thanks so much!! We're glad you liked it :-) Stay tuned for your imaginary $1000 😉
Thank you for your time.
You two are adorable!

Ahh yeah that makes sense. Sounds like an exciting plan!!
Good inspire

More of an anxious rant than a question lol
