My heart goes out to these people, may God have mercy on everyone that are affected by these disasters🙏 long ago living were all about happiness, living now is all about trials, misfortune, and tribulations, may God have mercy on us.
@Sasenarine Sukhdeo You are absolutely correct! - I agree with you whole heartedly! I've been thinking the exact same thing, for days now. The movement of the Intelligent AND practical, to higher ground, must, now be seriously considered.
Is not Guyana 🇬🇾 alone flood is every part of the world have a lot of rain and flood most people don’t have anything to go back to or call home cause everything is under water Guyana 🇬🇾 is below sea level and the sea water is rising remember we have climate change you all be safe and be careful with the reptiles sorry for you all lost but Mother Nature don’t discriminate is everyone facing this disaster only god have to help us all
My dear people welcome this is what global warming can do!!! And there will be more lets pray god forgive us we know you can stop all the pain but we forget you are the way and the light!!! Help us lord!!!
Geography calculations are not very accurate in this case.otherwise they'd come up with a solution before these problems emerged, unless other stuff are way more important than the coastal plain being swept away by the sea
The oil wealth need to go to benfit these Guyanaese people first.I hope Guyana take care of their people firs and dont allow foreigners to fool them and benefit off their wealth and blessings. Guyanas oil is for Guyanese first.
This country has never been the same after the British hand over Guyana to that demon President. I am guessing the government is not maintaining the drainage to prevent this type of disaster. I hope Guyanese abroad can come to gather to help with raising donations and essential items. Am so sorry this is happening and i do worry, their health is at risk.
The British had nothing to do with the drainage system in guyana. It was the Dutch that built the drainage system in guyana. The Guyanese government which includes both parties did almost nothing to maintain the drainage system in guyana. Politicians only come and bs you when your vote is needed. They will go so far as to fix or build something in your village to say look what I did for you. Guyana is below sea level and over the years the flooding is getting worse. In the 70’s the flooding was just as bad. The drainage system in guyana needs to be fixed. Use the oil money to fix your infrastructures. Your roads, schools, canals, drainage system. I see the oil money only going to the one percent and the poor and uneducated getting nothing out of it.
@@SKYSTAR767 Your correct, in regards to the dutch did build the system. My point is the same as yours. The British did maintain a lot in regards to the drainage and keeping the country clean. Your right about politricians dirty nasty liars.
@@SKYSTAR767you're well informed about our history & who put in place out drainage systems...all I'll say is what u said in yr comment & that's almost all the previous government fail to maintain out drainage systems it's a good systems we have but it's not being maintained & that's the problem....

Everyone loves water front properties that's for sure.

You folks seems to forget that Guyana is below sea level. Back in the day it 6ft below, so I am thinking that it's probably more now ,
Its mostly the low coastal plain not the whole country
Why don't the Government declare a national disaster and seek International aid. The people needs help. The politicians floating on the oil money.
I am from England we do have it over here also
The government did declare international help watch the news people so sad for those people 🇨🇦
Where is the Salvation army etc then? We see no one providing aid from US or elsewhere.
But is Guyana really under sea level? Or is it just the low coastal under sea level?
@@harharmahadev5715 in what calculations? Who's calculations?what actual evidence do they have to show this?
It would only make sense the reason why the water from the massive rain fall came to the lowest point of the country I mean think about it

@@silenttreatment2506 wrong shot, calculation is perfect and Guyana is below sea level.
The rain fall is different story yes.
Am still sticking to the coastal plain is below sea level
Yall stay strong
take out more oil it go stop 5 year more we all go dead out
💔🙏

You guys have to get away from the coastal areas
You cant live everywhere simple
Now it's too late
And remember it's coming again it's going to be two time worse
What's coming again fellah?

Invent floating house....adapt to flooding...
Since the 1980's and no precautions were taken to avoid this in the future?
