So after a few days of head scratching with the Porsche Loom we are finally making progress. It now starts on the Key, and we have a plan to make all the Dash functions now work..... Happy Days !!
I've been following this for what, 5 years? good to finally see this thing running, starting to come near completion. I don't know if it just feels that long or what but damn it's sure been a long time coming.
+歩春日 ruclips.net/video/Ee-kwzLHplY/видео.html You can see my car and the 962 in the same video here......After building more cars for other people I will get back to mine soon I hope..
Im sure this is way late by the date you posted but you can just get a abs ring and put a standard speed sensor mount the speed sensor in a bracket of sorts and put the ring on a axle shaft right close to the center differential. I had my buddy make one for me for the last one I did. And I used a 930 crank sensor to send signal.
No Dragon Prototypes own build.... nothing to do with RCR. New body panels available though us early next year from our own tooling. Also 2 more customer builds planned
@@clivehdhomer8306 Would these cars be able to handle very powerful modern engines like the a 800hp GT2 RS engine? In terms of structural strength and safety?
Yes my own car has the same kind of chassis design and will be running 1400Hp... The 962 chassis we make has a 700 HP 996 Turbo motor planned for the next 2 builds... The structure is probably stronger in many ways than the original aluminium Tub...
@@thestoiccarguy The chassis you see is designed in CAD by us sir.. to suit the customer needs. This car is lifted to 90mm for underbody clearance of a road car, but we can easily lower the design for track only use to its original 55mm clearance.
Nice, impressive project but, please coughing at every 5 words ! So annoying !!v Get some anti-coughing mints or something ! Or redo the sound track editing it out!
Due to many factors including the fact I have chest problems and nearly died as a child with whooping cough, its unlikely that will change Sir. But thanks for pointing it out.....
I am late to the party but what an amazing build 😍
Thanks
Been following this for a while - I have to say - I'm impressed!

Excited to see this on the roads in Calgary! Bringing it back for Driven 2017?
You should be able to disable the things you dont need showing on the cluster through a vag com or some kind of tuner software.
What engine has it got? 911 GT3 engine? btw, this is unbelievable... the amount of good work is immense... congrats!
yes its a 997GT3 RS that was crashed and stripped for its engine and complete Car loom.
impressive, GLHF :)

@@DPro Is the chassis replicated, or of your own design?
