But when she finally decided to come out of her shell (metaphorically and literally) and not care what anyone thinks about her anymore thanks to gumball’s love for her, she was finally happy.

Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.

To me she was a magic jelly creature, so is there something I'm missing or am I just being a contrarian for it's own sake?
