I played in a very short lived band with Robert Nix who wrote or co wrote Imaginary lovers. He told me it was about a blowup doll that had special bladder features. Whether it was true or not doesn't matter...what a great story! We put binkin bottoms on our blow up doll and hung her behind the drummer wearing our band T-shirts for sale. It was awesome! She rode with me in the equipment van and made a hellva cup holder (use your imagination lover) while driving. This was an old van! Unfortunately she turned into a pop star and we couldn't patch her anymore. Now if that ain't rock n roll...I don't know what is...Spinal Tap would undrrstand!
