Watching this brought back some crazy memories! My grandmother used to take me to this exact park all the time back in like 2002-2006. Super trippy watching this, huge wave of nostalgia.
Ikr they have so much room to have more buildings and rides. But the pandemic hurt them. In like 10 years if they have the money, this could be a top park
That purple/magenta thing by journey to Atlantis is actually like a drying machine thingy so you won't be soaking wet the whole time being there just fyi...loved the video SeaWorld is my favorite park ❤❤❤
Great video, welcome to my home state. Texas heat is pretty similar to Orlando heat, that is why it feels like home when I visit the Orlando parks. If you haven't tried ZDT's near San Antonio you need to drop by and ride Switchback.
The Great White sign was available as a shirt way back when it first opened. Also, keep hearing the 2021 addition was supposed to be a screaming swing but isn't that very similar to what was added in 2019, only difference being that the pendullum ride spins around vs screaming swing just swings back and forth.
From above with how San Antonio has technically 3 gates is to Disneyland as how SeaWorld Orlando/Aquatica/Discovery Cove function like WDW. TBH, they probably only own the land above the parking booths and some land behind Great White and Steel Eel. Texas Stingray and Turtle Reef really fill a huge gap in the loop and I'd be fine if they only focused on expanding their Water Park and turning Dolphin Cove into Discovery Cove as well as possibly removing Journey to Atlantis and the Nautilus Theater for an Inversion-based coaster that Fiesta Texas does not have (Great White is an invert, Texas Stingray is a woodie, Steel Eel is airtime based, Journey to Atlantis is a water ride, Wave Breaker has a launch, Grover's Soap Box Derby is the kiddie coaster)
Ranking SWSA roller coasters worst to best (my opinion): 6. Super Grovers 5. Journey to Atlantis 4. Wave Breaker 3. Great White 2. Steel Eel 1. Texas Stingray
As someone who worked the games and at seaworld for a while, the pond use to be the duck pond. there were little rubber ducks you could catch with a net and on the bottom of it was a letter. S for small,M for medium and L for large. the letter would determine what size prize you got. fairly simple game yet you wouldnt believe how many times people would ask me how to play. sad to see its gone though. havent worked there since 2015 so a lot there has changed it seems.
San Antonio has been around since the late 80s. Its the newest of the parks. They have already grown more since then. Do they have the ski show anymore? They used to have one on the lake. It was fun.
Sometimes they have October fest in that beer area and that small pool that was blue was and I think is still used for a duck game with tiny rubber ducks that you try to catch with nets or something
Boulevard Pale Ale and KC Bier company Dunkel are Kansas city best micro brews. I hear the IPAs are good too but I am not a fan of IPAs. Wheat, Pale Ales and Stouts are my favorite.

I actually love walkthrough videos they are so helpful if you’ve never been. I’m visiting SeaWorld SAT today actually!
Seaworld San Antonio isn’t the best seaworld right now but they got the room, so give it a few years and they’ll be a really good SW park

Yes more flat rides

I didn’t go to ZDT’s this trip, but went on my last one. Cool little place
They were playing pop music around 2:30 as well, Tycho! Happily suprised to hear that at a park.
Great walkthrough video! I'm not too far from the park and definitely need to hit it up.
One of my favorite parks. I love Steel Eel a lot. I go on it or try to about two or three times while I'm there. XD
I love watching your videos and every time I watch one I ask myself...How did you guys meet ???
We met back when we worked together 10+ years ago
Nice video. I reminded me when I went last year, is a nice park. My favorite exhibition were the penguins and The Shamu Show. I can't wait to go back.

I didn't know parks in Texas were open yet. Is Aquatica San Antonio open yet as well?
Aquatica San Antonio is open

Yes! Leave the pop and hip-hop for the SF parks
I was there yesterday.

No ski shows anymore
What day and time was this...it seems not crowded at all..nice
This was filmed Thursday July 9th, midday
I feel like Orlando could really use those two flat rides by the turtle area
Going next month for my sons 3rd birthday
I'm so so so excites
Does anyone know if the rides are easy to get on at this time?
I'm 12 I live in Oklahoma goin on Saturday so exited
Dang I haven’t been there in a whole year. I remember seeing the construction for the Texas Stingray
Thanks for sharing!
Just for back from a trip to san Antonio!
Goliath is the mirrored coaster, never realized that till you pointed it out.

wow thats wow
🧔🏻legend across the USA!🧔🏻
So are the shows open?
Yes
Next time you go get there funnel cake it is soooo good😋
26:51, your guess is correct my friend, it was indeed boats
Boulevard Pale Ale and KC Bier company Dunkel are Kansas city best micro brews. I hear the IPAs are good too but I am not a fan of IPAs. Wheat, Pale Ales and Stouts are my favorite.
How come the paths at the front of the park look like roads? Doesn't seem to really match the theme of a SeaWorld park
Goldstriker!!! Great America Santa Clara right?
That’s correct
@@IntheLoopPodcast Yeah that rides awesome!!!
Coming to San Antonio with my family should I go to six flags fiesta or sea world ?
Fiesta if you prefer rides & roller coasters, SeaWorld if you prefer animals
I would love to go to SeaWorld someday. You should visit the Indianapolis Zoo in Indiana it is amazing and it is defiantly a very memorable zoo.
I was just there on Tuesday actually. Loved the orangutan exhibit
@@IntheLoopPodcast When will the video come out?
Not sure but sometime in the next month
I think Texas has good zoos don’t you think?
Fort Worth is one of my favorite zoos in the country
The Texans are used to the heat it doesn’t bother us so I think that’s why they don’t have much indoor places haha
The fries are good I went in 2017
Were the lines for shows/rides long?
The day I went during the summer the park was completely empty, probably much busier now.
So can we see great white,is available?
I believe it was running on weekends
@@IntheLoopPodcast tnx
