    Good video but you skipped mentioning bead spacing. I do have a hack for that, take a plastic straw, cut it to the desired length you want between the beads and then cut it lengthwise so you can slip it on and off of your stringing material. This saves you from having to measure the space between the beads each time.

    When you crimp with the first part of the crimping plier does the wire has to be in the middle or on one side to crimp it? Thanks

    • @ChicdesigncafeNet

    Hi, this is the first time I've seen your channel it's great. ❤️ I love the way you made your illusion necklace with the crimp covers over each crimp. The covers make the whole necklace look beautiful and professionally finished. I've just bought a whole lot of bigger crimp covers - in size 4 and 5 - because the size 3 covers are too small to fit over the size 2 crimp tubes. I've got a tip to share with everyone: I also use the covers on my beaded necklaces when I find that I've left too much space between the last bead and the clasp, so there's beading wire showing. I put 1 or 2 crimp covers, or however many are needed, over the wire that's showing and they make the necklace look so much better. I was wondering if I can use monofilament to make an illusion necklace? What do you think of it? Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤️ xox

    • @ChicdesigncafeNet
      @ChicdesigncafeNet  2 года назад +1

      You can absolutely use that for making an illusion necklace. I used gold because that was the look I wanted. Check out PotomacBeads video on How to make Fast & Simple Illusion Necklace as they used supplemax. 🤗

      @@ChicdesigncafeNet Thank you for your help. I've got a spool of copper plated Soft Flex beading wire, so I'm going to make an illusion necklace with that and some pink quartz beads, or maybe some green aventurine beads.
