Just found your site. This is absolutely gorgeous. Going to make a few as Christmas gifts. Thanks for a great tutorial. I think I will add a wire guard after adding the crimp bead.
wOW, you did an incredible job. Me & my daughter can make jewelry together. Thank you for taking your time. I've gathered measurement information in the previous comments.
Good video but you skipped mentioning bead spacing. I do have a hack for that, take a plastic straw, cut it to the desired length you want between the beads and then cut it lengthwise so you can slip it on and off of your stringing material. This saves you from having to measure the space between the beads each time.
Beautiful! I love it!! I'll be making one for sure. Thanks for sharing. You explained everything very clearly and in detail. I liked and subscribed. Have a blessed day.
Hello! First let me say that this is the best instructional video I have seen so thank you for that! My question is, how far apart are you putting each section of beads? Thank You Again!
Too bad we can't post a photo in the comment section because I want to give this a try and share the image to you. This video is awesome and the tutorial is very understanding. Thank you for sharing this. I am hooked on your videos.
Please you write down me here what is the name of the wire that you use bcz my English is not good enough to understand clearly thank you for your sharing
Hi, this is the first time I've seen your channel it's great. ❤️ I love the way you made your illusion necklace with the crimp covers over each crimp. The covers make the whole necklace look beautiful and professionally finished. I've just bought a whole lot of bigger crimp covers - in size 4 and 5 - because the size 3 covers are too small to fit over the size 2 crimp tubes. I've got a tip to share with everyone: I also use the covers on my beaded necklaces when I find that I've left too much space between the last bead and the clasp, so there's beading wire showing. I put 1 or 2 crimp covers, or however many are needed, over the wire that's showing and they make the necklace look so much better. I was wondering if I can use monofilament to make an illusion necklace? What do you think of it? Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤️ xox
You can absolutely use that for making an illusion necklace. I used gold because that was the look I wanted. Check out PotomacBeads video on How to make Fast & Simple Illusion Necklace as they used supplemax. 🤗
@@ChicdesigncafeNet Thank you for your help. I've got a spool of copper plated Soft Flex beading wire, so I'm going to make an illusion necklace with that and some pink quartz beads, or maybe some green aventurine beads.
Very pretty but yes you're right its tedious, LoL. You did a FaBuLoUs JoB on this tutorial though and I wanted you to know that. I'm still beginning and watching Vid's all the time so to hear GOOD ones is awesome! Thanks SO much! Drex

When you crimp with the first part of the crimping plier does the wire has to be in the middle or on one side to crimp it? Thanks
Hi, mine was at the side because by the time you do the 2nd crimp it will press everything together. I hope this answers your question. 😊
Please you write down me here what is the name of the wire that you use bcz my English is not good enough to understand clearly thank you for your sharing
Muy bonito sólo falto ver cómo lo finalizabas... Saludos desde León Guanajuato México!!

this is so nice what kind of wire did you use maam?
Almira Cruz Hi, the wire is Beadalon stringing gold wire 7 strand. Coated, flexibility scale of good, size .38 mm.😊
Love it
This is the one video I will follow making a floating necklace. Very precise; however, I did not see the size of the wire.
Hi, I used Beadalon brand- 7 strand, gold, .018 in, 31 m. Happy crafting 😊
Can you tell me what size of 2mm crimp bead and what size for the crimp cover?
Hello, the crimp beads are 2x2 millimeter. You can use 2.5 millimeter crimp covers.
@@ChicdesigncafeNet where does one find 2.5 mm crimp covers? I’ve seen 3 mm crimp covers, but not 2.5 mm.
Wowww
hi how do you "de-wrinkle the flex wire? thanks
It's challenging but sometimes I use flat nose plyers to flatten wrinkles & bends in the wire.
fantastic
