I used to visit Ross Martin all the time when I lived around there. I'd bring him flowers and read him poetry. Then, when his wife joined him, I knew he wouldn't be alone anymore. I miss him. I hope to go visit him again someday soon.
Lisa Bunnie that's so sweet. He was so adorable & talented. I saw Ross & Olavee on Tattletales & I saw how perfect they were together. I'm sure he's happy to have her with him again.
So glad that your tours don’t only focus on the “ Greats “ but also concentrate on the lesser known, but still loved supporting players and behind the scenes artists. As always THANK YOU !
I know I’m late to the game but I only discovered your channel a week ago. Thank you for helping to preserve the stories of celebrities and not quite celebrities. Their stories are educational, entertaining, enlightening and sometimes humorous. A special thank you for taking the time to feature the Holocaust Memorial. I learned something new today and have another item to add to my bucket list.
Thanks for showing Ross Martin and his wife. They together appeared on tv game shows in the 70s. She seemed very nice too. He's is great. Lost too soon.
Thank you for your comments about the Six Million Memorial. Very timely. As a fan of old Hollywood I love that you also acknowledge the talents behind the scenes as well as stars.
I am humbled by Arthur Dark's reverent presentation of the Memorial to the Six Million. I was deeply touched by his eloquent explanation of the 6 figures at the Memorial. It is these small, yet powerful moments that distinguish Arthur Dark's work and educates us all to never forget about the horrific events like the Holocaust. Toda Raba. Shalom.
Psych Corp I'm of German heritage, but Christian but choice. I spend my time being nice to people as my way of apologizing for what my ancestors did. It's ironic that I say this in the comments section of a video honoring Jewish entertainers, because one of my favorite comedians, Don Rickles, a proud Jew, is buried in the cemetery this video talks about.
Some of the absolute lush & best kept cemetery grounds I’ve ever seen. The grass appears surgically cut around the markers! Not a single blade out of its place. Beats the hell out of the disgraceful conditions of Valhalla Park shown in another video. Hats off to the groundskeepers, excellent work......
A true testimony to how interesting your videos are, I get severe motion sickness….yet I cannot stop watching!! I have to close my eyes and hope I open them at the right time for the marker! 🤢 x
Loved the video like always - Memorial to the Six Million and you explaining the meaning of the statues brought tears to my eyes! Was a little disappointed you did not show my Uncles Grave - Walter Scharf who was in the Music and Film industry - Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Funny Girl many more, but I realize there are so many for you to research! Keep up the wonderful work you do and thank you!
I always think of Ross Martin as the original modern hero of the current steam punk movement. All around touching video. Blessings to our Jewish brothers and sisters.
That was an awesome tour, just sad to hear some these actors are gone. I didn't know about Wendie Jo Sperber, and Bonnie Franklin. The Holocaust Memorial is very touching.
What can I say Arthur...I was so moved by your reverent presentation of the Memorial for the Six Million. Truly beautiful. Lest we forget. And thank you for visiting Ross Martin. I've been a Wild Wild West fan since I was very young and Ross Martin was my favorite. Wonderful video...you get a gold star!!! 🌟
This is so interesting! I am Jewish and I wish I had gone to this cemetery, when I lived in the LA area! I think I will make a trip back! Thank you very much, for making all of these wonderful uTubes!!💗👍🏼
I definitely remember Jesse White and the new Maytag repairman is lackluster compared to him. I never knew about Pinky Lee but I can definitely see the similarities. Both in the name and silly content. Eleanor Audley was also interesting to see how involved she was in Disney as well as that they have kept her voice in the attraction for so long. Disney seems to change a lot but that has stayed 26 years after her passing. Great video as always!
You did it again!!!!!... I just love the way you do this y our voice and everything! Thank you for taking us with you! it is so educational and fun! I really enjoy it!! Your tribute to the Hollocaust victims is so awesome! GOD knows they deserve it! So detailed so beautiful! I don't understand why Ross Martin never won an Emmy! Thank you again and thank you for ALL your hard work! I am looking forward to other videos. Can't wait to get my t-shirt!!
I love the way you do these tours...very respectful and interesting . Being from the U.K..this is the Only way I will get to visit and know more about all these talented stars who shine in the heavens now. I also like your choice of music...very peaceful and.just right . Well done Mr Dark, for keeping them alive for us all. Regards from the U.K.,
I'm a new but enthusiastic subscriber! I'm very impressed by your knowledge & obvious love of the stars but your tribute at the Holocaust memorial deeply moved me! Please keep up the great work! :)
I am still watching these great videos. I just love them and you Arthur. Thank you for all of your greatness and respect for these extraordinary human beings who have gone on before us. Thank you for all of your hardwork. I just love it every one of them. Please never stop! I always look forward to seeing them!
The part on the Memorial to the Six Million was very touching. I am a true child of the United States. I have had relatives in every major war this country has had. All fought for freedom. I am also very mixed, ancestry-wise. My ancestry contains Asian, Caucasian, Latin, and Negroid. My ancestry also claims European Jew. I have very little knowledge of the Jewish religion, but I respect the religion and the people.
Rest in peace my Jewish brothers and sisters who died. Thank you Arthur Dark for showing this and your eloquent words. Shabbat Shalom as we remember them the day before the first day of Hanukkah.
A favorite memory of Bobby Van is his portrayal on Battlestar Galactica as Hector, half of a singing and dancing robot duo (the other half being Vector as portrayed by Ray Bolger).
I'd also like to thank you for your mentioning in the videos that you put out in the Jewish cemeteries about the tradition of placing stones on the markers. And the Holocaust memorial explanation of the characters depicted. I appreciate that greatly and I thank you. I also want to thank you for so happy Hanukkah wishes even though it's not on occur at this time that I'm feeling it LOL cola cove
I look forward to all your videos!! Your my favorite channel to watch! Can't click the videos fast enough! Thank you for posting these and giving so much history on each star♡. Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks for this one, the memorial for the Holocaust victims was interesting. I have a Jewish friend who was born in Columbia South America in the 40s , her German parents saw the handwriting on the wall in the later 30s and the only place that was open to flee to was South America, they came to California on the 50s ,
I always look forward to your next show you make it so complete I enjoy all the airlines that you do next to the graves and let us know what movies so what programs with film tapes it is just wonderful what you do thank you from the bottom of my heart Michael
I absolutely love your videos! I love old Hollywood and since your videos, I have really loved researching the stars and seeing their work. Thanks for your hard work!
Hollywood Graveyard - Informative.!!!!!!!!!! Can you do one on the graves of the people from The Titanic? I know their not celebrities but the history is interesting.
Bobby Van also appeared alongside Ray Boldger in the Battlestar Galactica episode 'Greetings From Earth'. They played the two robots Hector and Vector. Bobby and and Dirk Benedict became close friends while filming Greetings From Earth.
I'm so glad that they included Bobby van. I watch the hillside videos I thought he was in there. But I was wrong. Bobby van was my father's first cousin making him I guess my second cousin. In 1971 I think I stole my sister got tickets from him to see him in the Broadway play no no Nanette. And afterwards he took us backstage to meet all the cast. I'll never forget it was a great time I met a lot of famous people. I'm Jack kisses to Patsy Kelly and all the others that were in there. He was even at my bar mitzvah. The shame he died so early. Grade videos thank you for making them
What a fitting memorial to all the Jewish people, who suffered at the hands of monsters. And thank you for bringing this so tastefully, to our knowledge.
This is about my fourth time through all the videos, Arthur does a fantastic job with all of them. Informational and respectful. Finally viewing from computer rather than TV so I can properly "like" all
I have really enjoyed the videos, I appreciate your kindness and how respectful you are to the religions and the cemetery art . You also have the perfect voice.
Thanks for the rest of the information on the Memorial of the Six Million. I would love to visit one day. I hope you are able to come to the East Coast and visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC. You can visit Arlington while you are in the area too! Enjoyed the video.
Thanks for another great video. Have had the pleasure of visiting many of the cemeteries. Would you please consider making videos of Woodlawn cemetery, Mountain View cemetery and Orange county cemeteries Pacific View, Melrose Abbey.........Also cemeteries used in films and TV shows. Replicate the scenes in the movies and TV shows. Thanks for the great work!!!!!!
Wow, I know someone who means so much to me, her name is also Wendie haha. I seriously enjoy all your videos, keep them coming, especially the presentation and meaning of The Memorial to the Six Million.
When I was about 6 years old my aunt Shirley took me to see Sleeping Beauty in theater in Frenchtown. N.J. I use to watch on tv The Wild Wild West & Doby Gillis & Green Acres & also Hawaii 50 & My Three Sons. 🎉❤😊
I have always been a,"THE,WILD,WILD WEST" fan.Ross Martin and Robert Conrad were two of the greatest actors on classic TV.I still watch it today.
Please tell Giuseppe how much we love his music. So glad he made a cameo in one of your videos a few months ago.
You need a therapist Lisa
OK.. a bit weird....🎉......
Eleanor Audley Is my absolute favorite! I loved her in Sleeping Beauty and as Madam Leota!! Thank you for showing me where she is laid to rest!
So glad that your tours don’t only focus on the “ Greats “ but also concentrate on the lesser known, but still loved supporting players and behind the scenes artists. As always THANK YOU !

The monument to the “six million” is so touching! Sad but still beautifully designed!🇨🇦💐

Am touched, as well...wonderful and awesome video as always!
Mind they don't do it to you. Human beings are well capable of doing horror like this.

Never forget.
Weird how there were more Jews in Europe after the war than before it huh
My favorite binge-worthy RUclips channel.

Arthur does such a good job.
That was an awesome tour, just sad to hear some these actors are gone. I didn't know about Wendie Jo Sperber, and Bonnie Franklin. The Holocaust Memorial is very touching.
You have done your homework and a great tribute to those who we knew vicariously.

Great video! I love Eleanor Audley and I appreciate seeing her resting place. What a lovely tribute to all of these great people.
She was Lisa Douglas mother in law and the voices of Maleficent and the Step Mother in Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella
This video was excellent and thanks for the meaning behind the memorial. We can never forget because it could occur again.
