About a year before the pandemic I had the honour to travel in the cab of a Class 91 from King’s Cross to Peterborough with (then) newly qualified Lauren. It was wonderful. If you know Lauren say please hello from me and tell her a million thanks once again 😁
I have actually met Zak at Grantham. He was driving the London Kings Cross to Lincoln route. He was super nice and me and my friend had a conversation with him. He gave us a 7 tone on the way out. Lner, could you do me a favour and say hello to him for me!
Knebworth is the first station to pass by northbound where the intercity services can high tail it at 125mph (this occurs at a multiplying junction after passing the two Welwyn tunnels

Zak, are you allowed to drive other LNER routes or just London to Leeds?
Apart from that, fantastic video and great route
Although i don't work for LNER I do work for a TOC. I'd say he probably only drives london to Leeds because its such a long route and you have to remember he has to know all the diversions as well
Hey! Leeds is actually shorter than our core route! Only 2 hrs and 15mins (usually) Newcastle is the furthest London drivers go and is our core route. We also go to Lincoln :)
