Although i don't work for LNER I do work for a TOC. I'd say he probably only drives london to Leeds because its such a long route and you have to remember he has to know all the diversions as well
Hey! Leeds is actually shorter than our core route! Only 2 hrs and 15mins (usually) Newcastle is the furthest London drivers go and is our core route. We also go to Lincoln :)
